Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello get so close to sharing a kiss during their steamy performance at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday (August 26) at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

The two superstars performed their smash hit single “Senorita” live for the very first time, coincidentally on the same day it reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

Earlier in the night, Shawn also went solo to perform his song “If I Can’t Have You.”

“Senorita” was nominated for five awards this evening, including Best Collaboration and Song of the Summer.
