Rihanna Is Not Joining the 'Black Panther 2' Cast, Despite Recent Rumors

A big rumor was going around this afternoon about Rihanna possibly being in the cast of Black Panther 2, however, it doesn’t seem to be true at all.

The rumor popped up after fans noticed that when you Googled the movie, her name appeared alongside the cast of Michael B. Jordan, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, and Lupita Nyong’o.

According to E! News, the rumor is just that and there’s no truth to it.

Black Panther 2 is expected to start filming next year in Atlanta, and it was just recently revealed that the entire script had t be rewritten, as lead, Chadwick Boseman, passed away over the summer after a long, and secret battle with colon cancer.

Filmmakers opened up about their plans for the movie and all but nixed this idea about it.

The film is planning for a 2022 release at this time.
