Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg & More Reuniting for 'Zombieland 2'!

Zombieland 2 is a go, and the original cast and crew is reuniting for the sequel!

The exciting news was confirmed on Friday (July 13) by The Hollywood Reporter.

Nearly a decade after the original Zombieland, Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin are all set to return for the follow-up.

The movie will be directed by the original director, Ruben Fleischer. The original writers, Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, are returning too.

The new movie will “once again put the focus on comic mayhem, taking the quartet from the White House to the American heartland as they face off against new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But, most of all, according to the studio, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.”

The film will begin production in January 2019 and will be released in October 2019, just in time for the horror-comedy franchise’s 10th anniversary.

“This is one of those projects that fans have wanted to see happen for a long time – and no one wanted to see it happen more than Emma, Woody, Jesse and Abigail,” said Columbia Pictures president Sanford Panitch.

“These are some of the most in-demand actors and I think they are making this movie because they love these characters. We are thrilled Ruben was willing to come back to direct the sequel, as his work on Venom has been truly amazing.”

'Dirty Dancing' Remake Stays True to Original With One Big Addition!

The Dirty Dancing remake stays true to the original movie from 1987.

“For the most part it really does stay true to the original and all the things that people loved about the first one,” Abigail Breslin told E! “The thing that was exciting to me was you find out what happens to Baby and Johnny years later,” Debra Messing, who plays Baby‘s mom, added. Baby and Johnny’s fate together was never addressed in the original film.

Also starring in the upcoming made for television movie are Sarah Hyland as Lisa Houseman, Katey Sagal as Vivian Pressman, Nicole Scherzinger as Penny Rivera, Bruce Greenwood as Dr. Jake Houseman, Billy Dee Williams as Tito, Shane Harper as Robbie Gould, Trevor Einhorn as Neil Kellerman, Casper Smart as Billy Kotsecki, and J. Quinton Johnson as Marco.

Abigail Breslin Schools Troll Who Made Ignorant Comment About Rape

Abigail Breslin took to her Instagram to respond to a troll who commented on one of her posts that “reported rapes are the only rapes that count.”

The 21-year-old actress recently revealed that she was the victim of rape.

“I did not report my rape. I didn’t report it because of many reasons. First off, I was in complete shock and total denial….I didn’t want to view myself as a ‘victim,’ so I suppressed it and pretended that it never happened. Second of all, I was in a relationship with my rapist and feared not being believed. I also feared that if my case didn’t lead anywhere, he would still find out and would hurt me even more,” Abigail wrote in her response.

“Thirdly, I knew how hurt my friends and family would be after finding out, and I didn’t want to put them through that,” she continued.
