Results of Chester Bennington's Autopsy Revealed

The results of Chester Bennington‘s autopsy and toxicology reports have been released on Tuesday (December 5).

The late Linkin Park frontman’s autopsy showed that he had both alcohol and MDMA (ecstasy) in his system when he hanged himself, according to TMZ.

Authorities reportedly also found a prescription bottle of Zolpidem, or generic Ambien, on his dresser. There was also a pint glass of Corona, which was less than half full, and an empty bottle of Stella Artois.

There was no suicide note according to the report, but police found what they call an “apparent biography,” which was handwritten.

Linkin Park Wins at AMAs 2017, Chester Bennington Honored

The guys from Linkin Park accept their award on stage at the 2017 American Music Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (November 19) in Los Angeles.

Rob Bourdon, Mike Shinoda, and Brad Delson accepted the award for Favorite Artist – Alternative Rock and they paid tribute to their late band member Chester Bennington.

“We want to dedicate this award to him, to his memory, to his talent, to his sense of humor, to his joy… I want you guys to take a moment to appreciate what you’ve got and make Chester proud,” Mike said.

Linkin Park Performs Chester Bennington Tribute Concert - Watch Now!

Linkin Park is currently hosting a concert in Los Angeles to honor their late member Chester Bennington.

The band, along with Chester‘s fans and loved ones, gathered for the Linkin Park Celebrates Life in Honor of Chester Bennington concert on Friday (October 27) at the Hollywood Bowl.

The event is also being livestreamed on YouTube for fans around the world.

Chester tragically passed away at the age of 41 in July after committing suicide.

The show marks the band’s first live performance together since Chester‘s death.

Blink-182, Bring Me the Horizon, Machine Gun Kelly, Korn‘s Jonathan Davis, Kiiara, Zedd, members of No Doubt, Yellowcard‘s William Ryan Key, System of a Down, Avenged Sevenfold‘s M. Shadows, and more are also set to perform.

Linkin Park also wanted highlight mental health with the event, sharing a link to the One More Light Fund, where fans can donate in Chester‘s memory.

Linkin Park Shares Carpool Karaoke Featuring the Late Chester Bennington - Watch

Linkin Park is releasing one of Chester Bennington‘s final on-screen appearances before his tragic death in July.

The band’s Carpool Karaoke episode, which was filmed just one week before Chester‘s death, also features comedian and actor Ken Jeong.

“With the blessing of Chester‘s family and his bandmates, we share this episode, and dedicate it to the memory of Chester. This was taped July 14, 2017,” a disclaimer by Apple reads before the footage begins.

Linkin Park is putting on a benefit concert at the Hollywood Bowl on October 27 called Linkin Park and Friends Celebrate Life in honor of Chester Bennington.

Jared Leto Pays Tribute to Chester Bennington at MTV VMAs 2017

Jared Leto paid tribute to the late Chester Bennington, who tragically took his life earlier this year, at the 2017 MTV VMAs.

“I think about his wife and his six incredible children,” Jared said on stage. “I think about his family, I think about his band, who were really his brothers. And I remember his voice, at once ferocious and delicate. That voice will live forever.”

“If there is anyone out there who is watching this tonight who feels like there is no hope, hear me now: You are not alone,” Jared continued. “There is always a way forward. Reach out, share your thoughts, do not give up.”
