Jamie and Christoph play Django and Dr. King Schultz, respectively. The twosome, a freed slave and a German dentist/bounty hunter, travel across America to rescue Django’s wife (Kerry Washington) from Calvin Candie.

Django Unchained is set to be released in theaters on December 25.

The film, directed by Roman Polanski, is based on the play God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza.

Here’s the synopsis: “After two boys duke it out on a playground, the parents of the ‘victim’ invite the parents of the ‘bully’ over to work out their issues. A polite discussion of child rearing soon escalates into verbal warfare, with all four parents revealing their true colors. None of them will escape the carnage.”

Carnage hits theaters on December 16.

Kate Winslet steps out for a photo call for her new movie, Carnage, on Thursday (September 1) at the Palazzo del Cinema in Venice, Italy.

The 35-year-old English actress was joined by co-stars John C. Reilly and Christoph Waltz, as well as writer Yasmina Reza, who penned the play that the movie’s based upon.

Despite the unusual structure of the the film – it’s shot in a single apartment in real time and is said to feel like watching a play – viewers at a press screening gave positive reviews to Carnage.

FYI: Kate is wearing Helmut Lang‘s ember blazer with nude patent with black elastic ankle strap sandals by Michael Kors and a House of Lavande 1960′s Panetta gold and diamante bracelet.

Kate Winslet is just minutes away from having an outburst in the trailer for her new film Carnage.

The 35-year-old actress stars as the wife in one of two couples who meet to talk after their children have been in a fight that day at school. The meeting quickly goes from friendly to crazy.

The award-winning cast also includes Jodie Foster, Christoph Waltz, and John C. Reilly.

Carnage is based off of the Tony-winning play God of Carnage and is directed and written by Roman Polanski.

The film, which stars Kate Winslet, Jodie Foster, Christoph Waltz, and John C. Reilly, tells the story of two sets of parents from Brooklyn, NY, who decide to have a cordial meeting after their sons are involved in a schoolyard brawl.

Roman, who wrote the screenplay and directed the film, adapted the script from the play God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza, which opened on Broadway in 2009.

The film is set to be released on Friday (November 18).
