Paula Deen Joins 'Dancing with the Stars' Fall 2015 (Report)

Paula Deen will reportedly be joining the upcoming Fall 2015 season of Dancing with the Stars, multiple outlets are reporting.

The 68-year-old former Food Network chef was apparently asked to join in previous seasons, but she turned it down because she thought it was “not the appropriate forum for her,” a source told Us Weekly.

Back in 2013, Paula was in hot water after she was video taped using a racial slur in a deposition, which ultimately ended her relationship with the Food Network.

Nick Carter, Bindi Irwin, and Victor Espinoza have all been confirmed for this season, which begins September 14.

Nick Carter Joins 'Dancing with the Stars' Fall 2015!

Backstreet Boys boy band member Nick Carter has joined the upcoming 21st season of Dancing with the Stars!

“I’m excited,” the 35-year-old entertainer told Us Weekly. Nick added that his good pal from ‘NSYNC Joey Fatone convinced him to do the show after many offers over the years.

“He talks about it all the time and I was really debating if I wanted to do it, and he said, ‘It’s a great experience, it keeps you in shape and it’ll teach you a lot of stuff,’” Nick said of Joey. “He said, ‘You’ll get what you put into it.’ And I’m a hard worker, so I think it’ll be fun.”

“I never considered myself a great dancer. Even though funny enough I’ve danced my entire life, I might have had a little insecurity on that end. But I felt this time around I had some time and I think it’ll be a cool experience. I think they can teach me some stuff, Nick continued. “I hope maybe I can become a better dancer! It’ll be a great experience to learn how to ballroom dance. I have a tendency to get overweight pretty damn fast…so dancing has always kept me slim.”

The rest of the cast is expected to be revealed on September 2!

Bindi Irwin Joins 'Dancing With the Stars' Fall 2015 Season!

Bindi Irwin has been announced as the first contestant on Dancing With the Stars‘ upcoming 21st season for Fall 2015!

The news was announced on Monday (August 24) on Good Morning America.

“This is completely different to anything I have ever done in my life,” the 17-year-old daughter of the late Steve Irwin said. “I am used to wrangling crocodiles. I actually just got back from our annual crocodile research trip. About four days ago I was in far north Queensland catching crocs and now here I am in New York City, about to be in LA.”

“It’s all about having the courage and strength and, for me, it is something completely different but I hope that I am able to inspire others in their own lives to seize opportunity and to make a difference and just jump, take that leap, even if it terrifies you,” Bindi said.

“I just hope my dance partner, whoever it is, is very patient and likes animals, because you never know what I’m going to bring to rehearsal,” she added.
