Sean Spicer Turns Down 'Dancing With the Stars' Offer

Sean Spicer will not be seen on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars as he has reportedly turned down the offer to appear as a contestant.

The former White House Press Secretary was reportedly sought after by the show’s producers following his resignation from his job working for President Trump.

Spicer turned down the Dancing With the Stars offer because of the “overwhelming number of commitments in the Fall” he expects to have, according to TMZ.

No cast members have been announced for the upcoming season.

Sean Spicer's 'DWTS' Rumors Addressed in White House Press Briefing (Video)

Rumors are swirling that Sean Spicer could be in the running to compete on the next season of Dancing With the Stars and the current White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders even commented on the rumors in the latest press briefing!

Now that Spicer‘s schedule is cleared up, producers for the show have reportedly been having conversations with him about joining the reality series.

Sanders was not enthusiastic about having to address the rumors.

“I hate to start the Q&A off on a low note, but I wanted to get ahead of some of the personnel related questions and let you know that no, I cannot confirm whether or not Sean Spicer will be on Dancing with the Stars upon leaving the White House,” she said to some laughs from the press corps.

The Dancing with the Stars pros tied the night on Saturday (July 8) at sunset at the Oheka Castle – aka the Taylor Swift “Blank Space” castle – in Long Island, N.Y.

‘ younger brother Val Chmerkovskiy served as Best Man while DWTS stars Tony Dovolani and Sharna Burgess along with Rumer Willis were also a part of the wedding party.

Guests at the wedding included Jenna Johnson, Witney Carson, and Peta‘s former partner Nyle DiMarco – who has been sharing a glimpse inside the wedding on his Instagram story.

The couple’s six-month-old son Shai adorably served as “Prince of Honor” at the wedding.

DWTS Winner Rashad Jennings Was In Disbelief Over Winning The Mirrored-Ball Trophy

Rashad Jennings is living up his big Dancing With The Stars win!

Along with pro partner Emma Slater, runners up David Ross and Lindsay Arnold, and third place finishers Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy, they all appeared on Good Morning America this morning and even Rashad was still in disbelief.

“I don’t know if you caught my face or not, but I literally could not believe it at all,” Rashad admitted (via USA Today).

He adds, “It solidified all the hard work we put in. It was well worth it.”

Who Won 'Dancing With the Stars' 2017? Season 24 Winner Revealed!

The winner of the latest season of Dancing With the Stars has been revealed after an extra long finale episode!

The three finalists this year – Fifth Harmony singer Normani Kordei, baseball player David Ross, and football player Rashad Jennings – all hit the dance floor for the final time during the episode.

Rashad got a perfect score of 80 for his two dances the night before while Normani earned a 78 and David got a 73. The scores from Monday night’s episode were combined with a dance on the finale and votes from the audience to determine the winner.
