Star Trek: Discovery is embarking on one last journey, starting this week.

The hit Paramount+ series, part of the long-running Star Trek franchise, will end with its fifth and final season, beginning with two episodes on Paramount+ on Thursday (April 4), with new episodes premiering every Thursday.

In the series, ten years before Kirk, Spock, and the Enterprise, the USS Discovery discovers new worlds and lifeforms as one Starfleet officer learns to understand all things alien.

The stars of Crimes Of The Future gather up for the premiere of the film at Walter Reade Theater on Thursday (June 2) in New York City.

Kristen Stewart, Scott Speedman, Léa Seydoux, Viggo Mortensen, and Nadia Litz stepped out with writer/director David Cronenberg for the event.

The movie just recently had their official premiere at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.

However, during that premiere, several people actually walked out of the screening, and Kristen had something to say about it.

Here’s the summary of the movie: Humans adapt to a synthetic environment, with new transformations and mutations. With his partner Caprice, Saul Tenser, celebrity performance artist, publicly showcases the metamorphosis of his organs in avant-garde performances.

Kristen Stewart starts her day with the 2022 Cannes Film Festival photo call for her film Crimes of the Future on Tuesday (May 24) in Cannes, France.

The 32-year-old Oscar nominated actress was joined by her co-stars including Lea Seydoux, Scott Speedman, and Viggo Mortensen, as well as Yorgos Pirpassopoulos, Denise Capezza, Lihi Kornowski, Welket Bungue, Don McKellar, and Nadia Litz. Director David Cronenberg and producer Robert Lantos were also in attendance.

Kristen Stewart just gave us another great red carpet moment!

The 32-year-old Oscar-nominated actress walked the carpet for the premiere of her controversial new film Crimes of the Future during the 2022 Cannes Film Festival on Monday (May 23) in Cannes, France.

Kristen was joined at the premiere by co-stars Viggo Mortensen, Lea Seydoux, and Scott Speedman, as well as writer and director David Cronenberg.

Earlier in the day, Kristen was spotted stepping out in Cannes in a more casual, but still chic, look. See those pics in the gallery!

IGN notes that several audience members walked out during the film’s premiere due to the film’s content. “Notably, the majority of walkouts took place within the first five minutes, with others exiting during a particularly grotesque scene involving Léa Seydoux and an open wound,” the outlet reported.

David previously said, “There are some very strong scenes. I mean, I’m sure that we will have walkouts within the first five minutes of the movie. I’m sure of that. Some people who have seen the film have said that they think the last 20 minutes will be very hard on people, and that there’ll be a lot of walkouts. Some guy said that he almost had a panic attack.”

Kristen Stewart is taking on an exciting new role.

The 31-year-old Twilight actress will star in David Cronenberg‘s Crimes of the Future, Variety reported on Thursday (April 29).

Julianne Moore steps out on the red carpet in a bejeweled dress at the Maps to the Stars premiere held during the 2014 New York Film Festival on Saturday evening (September 27) at Alice Tully Hall in New York City.

The 53-year-old actress, who was joined at the premiere by director David Cronenberg, basically provided maps to the stars on her dress that looked like a constellation. So pretty!
