Robert Pattinson and his Cosmopolis director David Cronenberg attend the Times Talks chat about their film on Wednesday (August 15) at TheTimesCenter in New York City.

The 26-year-old actor recently opened up to Time magazine in a joint interview with David about a sex scene in the film, which was added at the last moment.

“That was probably one of the most difficult scenes in the movie. It wasn’t a sex scene in the script. In the script, we’d finished having sex, and we were getting dressed. [To Cronenberg:] I think you only told me like the day before or something,” Rob said. “I’d have done some sit-ups.”

Robert Pattinson keeps it casual in a white Levi’s t-shirt and jeans as he leaves a press event at Meet on Tuesday (August 14) in the Soho neighborhood of New York City.

The 26-year-old actor was joined by his Cosmopolis director David Cronenberg to chat about the film.

Robert Pattinson continues his Cosmopolis promo tour with a photo call at the Thompson Hotel on Monday (June 4) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Director David Cronenberg and co-stars Sarah Gadon, Kevin Durand, Emily Hampshire, and Paul Giamatti also joined the 26-year-old actor at the press conference.

Rob, who has talked about suffering panic attacks before working on a new project, said Cosmopolis was no different.

“I guess that’s kind of my process now. I have to go through the motions of feeling I’m going to have a heart attack for a while before,” he told reporters. “[David] told me to stop worrying. I think he heard me in the very obvious throes of a manic attack.”

The 26-year-old actor has been busy promoting the drama in Cannes, Paris, and his latest stop, Berlin.

“There’s a book called ‘The Professionals,’ which is a new crime thriller that Rob has read and really likes,” Twilight producer Wyck Godfrey recently told MTV News about Owen Laukkanen‘s debut novel.

“We’re just starting to look at a writer [to adapt it]. It’s kind of a ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ for today, and [Rob] would be fantastic in the role. It’s in the early days; we’ll see,” he teased.

Robert Pattinson and director David Cronenberg attend the Cosmopolis premiere on Thursday (May 31) in Berlin, Germany.

The night before, the 26-year-old English actor promoted the drama at its Paris premiere.

“When there’s people screaming outside, I’m like, `This is incredible.’ That people are screaming for this, the most bizarre movie – it’s amazing,” Robert told the Associated Press last week.

“I wasn’t expecting anyone to get it,” he added. “Even [at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival premiere], I was expecting everyone to walk out.”

Robert Pattinson suits up for the Cosmopolis premiere held at Le Grand Rex on Wednesday (May 30) in Paris, France.

The 26-year-old actor hit the red carpet with director David Cronenberg a few days after presenting the drama at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

“He’s so good in it!” girlfriend Kristen Stewart recently gushed to MTV News about Rob‘s performance. “He’s really, really [good].

“I don’t even know how he [did it]. I couldn’t even understand it,” she added. “It’s so good, it’s so cool, I’m so proud of him. Thank God.”

Robert Pattinson and co-star Juliette Binoche arrive at the Cosmopolis premiere during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 25) at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

Cast members Sarah Gadon, Paul Giamatti, Emily Hampshire, and the film’s director, David Cronenberg, also walked the red carpet after promoting the drama at a photo call earlier in the day.
