The biggest football game of the year will take place on February 11, 2024, and whoever performs has big shoes to fill after Rihanna took the stage and played so many of her hits this year.

Ed Sheeran‘s Mathematics Tour is continuing this weekend with two shows in the Boston area and Khalid will unfortunately not be playing with him.

If you didn’t know, Khalid has been the special guest on Ed‘s tour, but he was in a car accident last weekend in Maryland. In his absence, Ed served as his own opening act for fans in Maryland, playing a separate set for those lucky fans.

Now, Ed has announced that two huge artists will be filling in for Khalid during the shows at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.

Ed Sheeran pulled off double duty tonight for his concert in Landover, Maryland.

According to fans (via Entertainment Tonight), the 32-year-old musician explained that he was doing a stripped down, pre-show for the crowd as Khalid, who was supposed to open, was involved in a car accident.

Ed Sheeran broke an impressive record last week when he played the biggest USA shows of his career… and they grossed a LOT of money!

The 32-year-old singer performed two shows at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and broke the attendance record for the venue.

Ed played at the stadium on June 10 and 11 and played to 89,106 people at one of the shows, breaking the record for the amount of people at the stadium for a concert.

“Played my biggest ever USA show today and broke the ticket record at MetLife. I really don’t take this for granted, my dad told me if you can make it in New York you can make it anywhere, and today was really reminiscing about playing my first show at mercury lounge in 2012 to 130 people. It feels like a dream today. I love you all,” Ed wrote on Instagram.

MetLife Stadium has now revealed the attendance totals for both shows and also revealed how much money the shows grossed.

Chris Hemsworth is back on the red carpet for the latest premiere of Extraction 2!

The 39-year-old actor stepped out at the Lincoln Center on Monday (June 12) in New York City, alongside his co-stars Olga Kurylenko, Adam Bessa, Daniel Bernhadt, Golshifteh Farahani, Tornike Gogrichiani, Marta Kovziashvili, Mariam Kovziashvili, producer Anthony Russo and director Sam Hargrave.

Chris‘ brothers, Luke and Liam Hemsworth also attended the event in support, with their partners, Samantha Hemsworth and Gabriella Brooks. Musician Ed Sheeran was also seen at the premiere.

“If you are seeing his face, then he was doing [the stunt]…,” Sam told TV Insider about the stunts Chris is actually doing in the film versus a stunt double. “He was in the cars doing driving, he was hanging from wires off the side of the buildings. He was lit on fire!”

Sam then added, “He’s not just a pretty face and a muscular body. He has a depth of soul that’s really powerful [onscreen].”

Over the weekend, Chris‘ wife Elsa Pataky attended the premiere in Berlin.
