Heather Morris is continuing to pay tribute to her late friend Naya Rivera.

The 33-year-old actress, who was Naya‘s on-screen girlfriend on Glee, posted another sweet message about Naya on Instagram. She promised to do something every day to honor the legacy of her friend.

“The messages are going to trickle out. But you’re still here with me. And I’m not done remembering your legacy,” Heather wrote.

Heather continued, “You would tell me ‘you look so skinny’ EVERY TIME you saw me and it made me giggle slash I loved it and when I told you how it made me feel…you said ‘well I’d always like to hear that I look skinny so I make sure to make others feel good like that.’”

“We had a play date in the works for this week and I can’t wait for it to be over so I can stop thinking about how I missed our chance to be together,” she added. “I f–king loved how you drank martini’s and no one would know you smoked cuz you were a mastermind at hiding it. I’m doing something everyday to honor your strength and it helps me to feel close to you. I love you Nay.”

Heather Morris is ready to speak out following the tragic death of Naya Rivera.

The former Glee star paid tribute to her on-screen partner on the series by sharing touching images of their sons together.

“We started out as the closest friends and then like all new things, we went through a bit of a rocky phase,” Heather writes as she showed off a recent trip of their boys to a ghost town attraction. “However, we stuck by each other’s side and created the most beautiful friendship built out of love and understanding.”

She continues, remembering the last time they interacted: “The last I had the chance to see you in person, I had left oranges outside our home for you to take. I wanted to say hi through the window but my phone didn’t ring when you called (which it never does, f*cking T-Mobile), so instead you and Josey left two succulents on our doorstep as a thank you. I planted those succulents and I look at them everyday and think of you.”

“I still listen to your EP on repeat because from the moment I heard it, it struck me and I always wished the world knew more of your voice,” Heather went on. “You sent me over 5 dozen SnapChat videos when you and Josey woke up in the morning and I kick myself that I didn’t save one of them. You always shared recipes and I admired your love for food. We vowed to spend every Easter together, even though Covid stole this last one from us.”

“You are and always will be the strongest and most resilient human being I know, and I vowed to carry that with me as I continue to live my life.”

Heather also spoke about how Naya was a constant light in her life.

“You constantly taught me lessons about grief, about beauty and poise, about being strong, resilient and about not giving a f*** (but still somehow respectful ). Yet, the utmost important lesson I learned most of all from you was being a consistent and loving friend. You were the first to check in, the first to ask questions, the first to listen..you cherished our friendship and I never took that for granted.”

“We never took photos together because we mutually hated taking pictures…our relationship meant more than proof. I have countless pictures of our babies playing, because we shared that kind of pride and joy,” Heather adds. “So I’m showing the world a photo of our little goof balls for you, because I know that meant more than anything and they remind me of you and I.”

She concluded, “I speak to you everyday because I know you’re still with me and even though I’m feeling greedy that we don’t get more time together, I cherish every moment we had and hold it close to my heart.”

Heather was one of the first of Naya‘s co-stars to reach out to authorities to find a way to help in the search for her and gathered more cast members for a trip to the lake to pray for her.

Naya died during a drowning accident last week after a trip to Lake Piru in California with her son, Josey Dorsey. Her body was found on Monday, July 13.

ABC7 Eyewitness News caught a heartbreaking moment featuring Naya Rivera‘s family and friends on site at Lake Piru in California just before it was announced that a body was found during the search for the missing Glee star.

It appeared as if Naya‘s loved ones gathered and stood hand-in-hand together, looking out on the large body of water where search and rescue divers are looking for the Glee star. She went missing on Wednesday (July 8) in the lake after going boating with her four-year-old son Josey. Josey told authorities that his mom never came back to the boat after swimming.

Fans think they identified Glee co-stars Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Heather Morris, and Jenna Ushkowitz as part of the group that were there to support during the search.

No further updates have been given by authorities and we are awaiting a press conference shortly. Naya‘s Glee co-stars have also been posting messages about her today after news that a body was found.

Heather Morris is offering her help in the search for Naya Rivera.

The 33-year-old Glee actress reached out the Venture County Sheriff’s department on Twitter on Saturday (July 11) to ask if there is anyway she can help as they search for Naya at Lake Piru after her disappearance.

“My name is Heather Morris, I’m Nayas close friend and co-worker, and I’m trying to conduct an on foot search and rescue mission along with a small group of friends at Lake Piru,” Heather tweeted. “I understand your team is doing EVERYTHING in their power, but we are feeling helpless, powerless and want to help in any way. I have left a message with the department of Rescue and Air today, and I will call again tomorrow. Thank you”

Three days ago, Naya went missing at the lake while on a boat trip with 4-year-old son Josey. Hours later, Josey was found asleep on the boat, and told authorities that he and his mom went swimming, but Naya never returned to the boat.

On Friday night, the authorities gave an update and explained why they’re ruling out suicide as a possibility in the disappearance.

The 33-year-old actress, who starred with Naya on the popular Fox show, shared her message on Instagram Stories after hearing the news.

“We need all the prayers we can get to bring our Naya back home to us,” Heather wrote in big bold letters. “We need your love and light.”

Heather and Naya starred as Brittany and Santana on Glee, who confirmed their relationship in season two of the series. While the characters did break up as they both went to college and long distance strained on their relationship, the two did end up getting married in season six.

Earlier tonight, news broke that Naya went missing after a boat trip with her four-year-old son, Josey Dorsey.

Heather Morris is speaking out about the allegations made against her former Glee co-star Lea Michele.

The 33-year-old actress and dancer, who played cheerleader Brittany S. Pierce on the beloved series, says that Lea was “very” unpleasant to work with.

Samantha Ware, who appeared on the show’s final season, spoke out earlier this week and said that Lea made her first television gig a “living hell.”

Heather said, “Let me be very clear, Hate is a disease in America that we are trying to cure, so I would never wish for hate to be spread to anyone else. With that said, was she unpleasant to work with? Very much so; for Lea to treat others with the disrespect that she did for as long as she did, I believe she SHOULD be called out.”

“And yet, it’s also on us because to allow it to go on for so long without speaking out is something else we’re learning along with the rest of society,” Heather continued. “But, at the current moment its implied that she is a racist and although I cannot comment on her beliefs, I think we’re assuming, and you know what happens when we all assume…”

Another former Glee co-star just hit the unfollow button on Instagram, years after her own feud with Lea made headlines.

Heather Morris is opening up about how she was affected by the leak of her intimate photos back in 2012.

The 33-year-old former Glee actress was one of the many celebrities who were hacked nearly a decade ago and had photos leaked on the internet.

“Okay so over 10 years ago, some of nude photos were leaked of me and many other actresses in the industry. To say I was MORTIFIED is an understatement; my body was and still is part of my job and I felt like I couldn’t even walk around my work place thinking that everyone had seen every single piece of me (a couple of snide comments from co-stars game my way which didn’t help),” Heather wrote in a new Instagram post.

Heather shared a new bikini photo in the post and opened up about her journey to feeling the best she’s felt in over a decade.

“Shortly after that faded away into the abyss, I had two kids and became a mom, so till this day, I’ve been VERY sacred about how I display myself and definitely still don’t even feel 💯 % comfortable in anything riskay,” Heather continued. “But, to add no pressure to feeling like I need to be a twig or a certain weigh/shape/size (it’s honestly a concept I’ve come to terms with that my body is beautiful regardless)…recently I began the @barrys 30 day challenge and I just want to say that during this quarantine I feel the best I’ve ever felt in over a decade 👏👏.”

“its a f**cking challenge and a tough one at that, but I just want to say..let’s not anyone feel ashamed of who we are and just go kick some ass when we want to and feel good about ourselves, okay!!? I’m done… 👊🏻,” Heather concluded.
