Jackie Chan proudly shows off his shiny new Oscar at the 2016 Governors Awards on Saturday (November 12) at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood.

Also in attendance at the event were Sylvester Stallone, Tom Hanks, and Chris Tucker.

Jackie won an honorary Oscar that evening after his decades-long career saw him in over 200 films.

During his acceptance speech, Jackie talked about admiring Sylvester‘s Oscar statue during a visit in the past.

“I touched it, kissed it, smelled it,” Jackie told the crowd (via E! News). “I believe it still has my fingerprints on it…Then I talked to myself, ‘I really want one.’ Finally, [Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs] called and I said, ‘Are you sure?’”

“I want to thank all my fans around the world because you’re the reason I continue to make movies, jumping through windows, kicking and punching [and] breaking my bones,” Jackie added. “Thank you so much!”

Jackie Chan is set to receive the lifetime achievement Oscar from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences!

The 62-year-old Chinese movie star will be receiving the honorary Academy Award at the eighth annual Governors Awards on November 12.

Jackie, who is well known for doing his own stunts, has starred in more than 30 martial arts movies in Hong Kong. He even has written and directed many of them. In the past year, he was the second-highest paid actor in the world with earnings of $61 million. Watch an educational video below showing him doing his own stunts!

Also receiving honorary Oscars this year are film editor Anne Coates, casting director Lynn Stalmaster, and filmmaker Frederick Wiseman.

The 50-year-old former Grey’s Anatomy actor, who also doubles as a race car driver, served as the ambassador at the event. Jason Statham and Jackie Chan both were in attendance.

The flag was waved at the start of the race by Brad Pitt.

Patrick was spotted arriving at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris the day before alongside Ryan Seacrest, who was on the same flight as him.

Jackie Chan is filming a movie right now in London and the crew blew up a double-decker bus on the Lambeth Bridge, which sent locals into a panic.

The explosion happened on Sunday morning (February 7) and it was all a coordinated stunt for the upcoming film The Foreigner, which also stars Pierce Brosnan.

There were warning signs around town, but not everybody saw the notices and many people thought a terrorist attack was happening.

“Anyone worried about the exploding bus on Lambeth Bridge just now? It was just for a movie,” one Twitter user wrote with the below video.

It has just been announced that CBS has ordered a remake for the hit movie franchise Rush Hour, which originally starred Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker!

The new pilot will also center on a “by-the-book Hong Kong police officer who is assigned to a case in L.A., where he’s forced to work with a cocky black LAPD officer who has no interest in a partner.” Casting for the two leads is currently under way.

The network, which is also responsible for hit shows – The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men, has also picked up a new version of Greg Garcia‘s 2013 comedy film Super Clyde.

The 60-year-old actor is joined in the action flick by John Cusack and Adrien Brody.

Dragon Blade, which is reportedly one of the most expensive Chinese-language films to be made, centers on “lost Roman soldiers who navigate their way through China.”

The U.S. release date for the Daniel Lee-directed film has not been announced. Stay tuned!

The 46-year-old actress was joined on the red carpet by Jackie Chan, who was representing the Chinese film industry at the event.
