Kevin Hart Tries To Become An Action Star With Help from John Travolta in 'Die Hart' Trailer

Kevin Hart and John Travolta debate about action stars named Kevin in the trailer for their new Quibi series, Die Hart.

In Die Hart, Kevin plays a fictionalized version of himself who’s tired of being the comedic sidekick.

He gets his wish when a famous director offers him his dream – to be a leading man action star – but there’s a catch: Kevin must first train at the world’s greatest action star school, run by a lunatic (Travolta).

Pushed to his limits by this action school coach and a tough-minded rival student (Nathalie Emmanuel), Kevin must survive a series of hilarious, over-the-top action sequences and face his fears if he wants to achieve his dream and land the role of a lifetime.

Die Hart will premiere TOMORROW, July 20 on the short form streaming service.

Olivia Newton-John Calls Kelly Preston A 'Radiant' Spirit Following Her Death

Olivia Newton-John is sending her love to John Travolta and his children after hearing about Kelly Preston‘s untimely passing.

The 71-year-old actress starred with John in Grease and Two of a Kind and was close friends with his wife, Kelly. Read John‘s own tribute to Kelly here…

“Kelly was a radiant, warm and gentle spirit — a loving, devoted wife, mother and sweet friend,” Olivia shared in a statement after news of Kelly‘s death was revealed this morning.

She adds, “My heart breaks for John, Ella and Ben. No words can express my sorrow for her family. Kelly’s light shines on in her beautiful children.”

Kelly passed away from a long and private battle with breast cancer, leaving behind two children, Ella and Ben, and husband, John. She was just 57.

Olivia just recently provided an update to fans about her own battle with breast cancer.

John Travolta Remembers Wife Kelly Preston in Heartfelt Tribute After Her Death

John Travolta is mourning the death of his wife Kelly Preston.

The 66-year-old actor took to Instagram on Sunday night (July 12) to mourn the death of the actress, after it was announced that she died at 57-years-old after a two-year battle with breast cancer.

“It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer,” John wrote. “She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many. My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side.

John and Kelly married back in 1991. She is survived by their kids Ella, 20, and Benjamin, 9. Their son Jett died 16-years-old back in 2009.

“Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered,” John continued. “I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while. But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal. All my love, JT”

Hairspray's Nikki Blonsky Reveals She Texted John Travolta Before Coming Out as Gay

Nikki Blonsky is reflecting on her decision to come out as gay.

The 31-year-old Hairspray actress spoke out in an interview with THR on Tuesday (June 30) following her announcement.

During the conversation, Nikki revealed that she already heard from co-star John Travolta.

“I have. I did not want the person who played my mother to have to find out about this from anybody else. I felt the need to tell him myself so I texted him and we had a lovely conversation. I love him with all my heart. I couldn’t have been more honored to have played his daughter. He is one of the finest human beings you’re ever going to meet,” she explained.

John Travolta made a surprise appearance at last night’s (February 20) Univision’s 2020 Premio Lo Nuestro!

The 66-year-old Grease star took the stage at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Fla, to join host Pitbull at the award ceremony for his melody performance.

Pitbull performed a medley of his greatest hits, alongside Chesca and Lil Jon — and John Travolta, who stared in Pitbull‘s music video for “3 to Tango,” danced around the stage during the 6-min set, before unexpectedly taking the mic, joining in to sing the musician’s Blake Shelton collaboration, “Get Ready.”

There Was an 'Adele Dazeem' Reference at Oscars 2020 That You Might Have Missed!

Idina Menzel performed “Into the Unknown” from Frozen 2 at the 2020 Academy Awards on Sunday (February 9) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood…and everyone got flashbacks to “Adele Dazeem!”

If you don’t remember, in 2014, John Travolta introduced Idina on stage to sing “Let It Go” and he called her “Adele Dazeem.”

Well, at tonight’s Oscars, Josh Gad introduced Idina‘s performance and he made a reference to it that you may have missed.

“But as a dad to two girls and the voice of the American Olaf, the iconic and brilliant Idina Menzel, pronounced exactly how it is spelled, is our Elsa,” Josh said.

Deadline reports that production on the show will start this week.
