Andrew Garfield poses with director Mel Gibson while attending a photo call for their new film Hacksaw Ridge held during the 2016 Venice Film Festival at Palazzo del Casino on Sunday (September 4) in Venice, Italy.

The guys were joined on the red carpet by Vince Vaughn, Luke Bracey, and Teresa Palmer, the latter of whom showed off her growing baby bump.

Earlier in the day, Mel was spotted arriving in town by boat.

“Trying to live up to a man who somehow can hold on to his core, about who he is meant to be, and what he is meant to do and what he can’t do, in a culture in an environment that is telling him to be the opposite, that is a rare thing,” Andrew recently told THR about his character.

Also starring Sam Worthington, Luke Bracey, Teresa Palmer, and Vince Vaughn, the movie tells the true story of Desmond Doss (Garfield) who, in Okinawa during the bloodiest battle of WWII, saved 75 men without firing or carrying a gun.

He was the only American soldier in WWII to fight on the front lines without a weapon, as he believed that while the war was justified, killing was nevertheless wrong.

As an army medic, he single-handedly evacuated the wounded from behind enemy lines, braved fire while tending to soldiers and was wounded by a grenade and hit by snipers.

Doss was the first conscientious objector awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.

Hacksaw Ridge hits theaters on November 4.

Naya Rivera puts her assets on display while walking the carpet at Vanity Fair and Fiat’s Young Hollywood Celebration on Tuesday (February 24) at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 28-year-old former Glee actress showed that her post-baby body is absolutely back in shape.

Teresa Palmer is gorgeous as she strikes a pose at the premiere of her latest film Point Break held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Tuesday (December 15) in Hollywood.

The 29-year-old actress was joined by her hubby Mark Webber, as well as her co-stars Luke Bracey, Edgar Ramirez, Clemens Schick, director Ericson Core, and The 33‘s Juan Pablo Raba.

The two actors are joined in the Ericson Core-directed film by Teresa Palmer and Delroy Lindo.

Point Break centers on “a young FBI agent who infiltrates an extraordinary team of extreme sports athletes he suspects of masterminding a string of unprecedented, sophisticated corporate heists.”

The action flick is inspired by the classic 1991 hit, which starred Keanu Reeves and the late Patrick Swayze.
