Macaulay Culkin was the victim of an Internet death hoax this weekend, and is now assuring fans he is alive and well by parodying the hilarious 1980s movie Weekend at Bernies in some new pics.
“Weekend at bernies with @anchovywarhol #greenroom,” one tweet read from the The Pizza Underground‘s Twitter page. The Pizza Underground is his Velvet Underground tribute band.
“Performing last night at the Belmont, Bernie style @funfunfunfest #imalive” another post read. “We’re on tour you silly people / @anchovywarhol’s 📷”
The death hoax began when a source posted that Macaulay was found dead in his New York City apartment. We’re glad he is okay and has a sense of humor about the whole situation!
