Madison Beer Slams Plastic Surgery Rumors, Speaks Out Against Bullying After Mia Khalifa's Shade

Former adult film star Mia Khalifa got a nose job and shaded singer Madison Beer in her video announcement.

It started when Mia posted a TikTok with the caption, “I’d never hide behind a tree. Don’t compare urself to anyone on the internet, ur beautiful ♥️ THANK U, @deepakdugarmd . U changed my life! #ShaveItOff.” The “hide behind a tree” comment seems to be a reference to photos that allegedly surfaced where Madison reportedly was hiding behind a tree at a plastic surgeon’s office.

A fan caught on and tweeted, “MIA KHALIFA SHADING MADISON BEER IS SOMETHING I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SEE” to which Mia responded, “I will be shading anyone who sets unrealistic beauty standards for young impressionable fans.”

Madison received a ton of unacceptable bullying online and chose to respond, writing, “bandwagon hate and mass bullying is something i’m not okay with. sorry. bullying has been an issue that has led to suicide and depression for so many for years and years and still people do not care to change. focus on your own lives and stop being so hateful towards strangers.”

She then responded to a tweet about her that read, “she was also caught by the paparazzi at a plastic surgery place literally hiding. i love her music and her, herself but it kinda frustrates me when i see her lying to us. many girls have been known being inspired by madison for her supposed natural looks but it simply impossible.”

Madison directly responded and shared photos where she is literally walking to the office as normal, writing, “i was there for a consultation to get a mole removed. (which i shouldn’t even need to clarify cuz it’s my business) i wasn’t ‘hiding.’ i was waiting for my car & walked out normally. but these pics go ignored. i’ve gotten death threats bc of this situation. see the issue?”

Madison Beer Opens Up About 'Trauma' She Experienced After Private Videos Surfaced Online

Madison Beer is taking back her body this International Women’s Day.

The 21-year-old singer took to Twitter on Sunday (March 8) to open up about the “trauma” and “anxiety” she experienced after her private and explicit videos started circulating online when she was only 14-years-old.

“When I was around 14 and exploring my body and sexuality, I sent very private Snapchats of my body to a boy I really liked at the time,” Madison wrote. “I sent these, at 14, thinking I could trust the boy as we had known each other for years & shared feelings for one another, but of course he shared it with all his friends.”

Madison continued: “I was distraught and ashamed. This was a traumatizing experience that has instilled intense trust issues in me, that I’m still working on today.”

Madison then revealed that now, seven years later, more videos from when she was only 14 are starting to surface again.

“If only I could express the trauma and share this has reopened for me. All these years I’ve had perpetual anxiety,” Madison wrote. “I’ve been in the dark and fearful of this Snapchat re-emerging as if it was a dirty secret I’ll always have to keep, because I was told it would damage my career and wasn’t okay.”

Now years later, Madison wants everyone to know that she is not letting this incident hold her down and she’s ready to forgive herself.

“So today, on IWD I am going to free myself of this weight I carry,” Madison wrote. “I am going to tell my 14 year old self the following which I hope may help some of you to be kinder to yourselves as young women.”

“‘You should not feel shame,’” Madison wrote to herself. “‘You were exploring your sexuality, you were learning. You should not feel like you did something wrong. Shame on those who betrayed your trust & SHAME ON THOSE WHO SHAMED YOU.’”

Coldplay‘s Chris Martin, Madison Beer, and Daya join a star-studded lineup for the upcoming, first annual LOVR Benefit Concert.

The singers will all take the stage at the event held at the Hollywood Palladium on March 21 in Los Angeles.

The event, presented by The Noah Benardout Foundation, is being held to advocate for an end to DUI (Driving Under the Influence).

Also performing are Sofia Carson, Bråves, Nicholas Petricca of Walk the Moon, Romeo of Farr, Saint Bodhi, Dreamers, Lemmo, El Javi, and many others.

Presenters and celebrity advocates include actor Andy Garcia, actor & DUI survivor Obi Ndefo, comedian Fahim Anwar, actor Oliver Trevena, MMA fighter Marcus Kowal of Liam’s Law, KCRW’s Jason Kramer, and media personality Ross King, who will be joined by several others.

The LOVR Benefit also marks the first time that all three of California’s major law enforcement departments are joining forces to demonstrate how they are combatting the DUI epidemic within the Los Angeles community.

A musician known as “LOVR,” Noah Benardout was tragically killed on August 1, 2019 by a drunk driver while waiting to cross a West Hollywood street. On the day he died, Noah was offered a record deal, and was about to release his new EP. To honor his memory, the Benardout family established the Noah Benardout Foundation, which advocates the end of DUI fatalities through music and education.
