Alyssa Milano Named Her Son After Former Co-Star Milo Ventimiglia!

Alyssa Milano is spilling on why she named her son after her friend and former co-star Milo Ventimiglia!

The pair, who co-starred in the 2008 horror film Pathology, became close friends and Milo even encouraged Alyssa to date her now-husband David Bugliari.

“I used to confide in Milo Ventimiglia and say, ‘Is that weird if I date an agent that’s at my agency?’ and he was very, like, ‘No, if you’re compatible, you should go for it,’” Alyssa told People.

She added, “So I feel like he was responsible for my husband and [me] getting together.”

And when it came time for Alyssa and David to name their son, Milo was an obvious choice!

“I loved that name, but when Milo was born, he just looked like a Milo to me and I thought it would be a lovely homage to Milo Ventimiglia for encouraging me to find my love.”

Milo Ventimiglia Says Jess Was Good For Rory on 'Gilmore Girls'

Milo Ventimiglia was a big fan of his Gilmore Girls character Jess, just like the rest of us.

The 39-year-old This Is Us star still gets approached by fans who loved Jess and his relationship with Rory.

“Still to this day, you know, it blows me away—the impact of the Jess character, how much everyone was in love with him and wanted to find a guy like Jess..” Milo told W magazine. “He was kind of trouble, you know.”

Still, Milo had a lot of positive things to say about him too.

“He had good hair. He had that pompadour thing going, and he had dope jackets, and he always had a book in his back pocket,” Milo added. “And I feel like, well, if you got that hair and you got a cool jacket and you got a book in your pocket, you must be good for a girl.”

Gilmore Girls ran from 200-2007 on The WB.

Nicole Kidman Would Not Hesitate to Eat These Gross Bugs: 'I Could Go on Survivor'

Alexander Skarsgard, Nicole Kidman, Riz Ahmed, and Milo Ventimiglia are just some of the TV stars featured in W magazine’s August 2017 issue.

Here’s what they shared with the mag…

Milo, on his first kiss: “It was at my friend’s house. I think this beautiful girl, her name was Michelle. And I remember she walked up and just grabbed me, and pulled me in and kissed me. And I couldn’t leave the couch after that. I was shocked and terrified and in love and feeling something I’d never really felt before. And it was amazing and I wanted it again, but that was my friend Roger’s girl that he was kind of dating. Yeah, I think that one definitely put me on my ass. . . It lasted a long time, the memory of it. You don’t think about those things, and then the question is asked, and you’re right back there in that moment. It’s, Oh, man, I remember everything.”

Nicole, on being very adventurous with food: “I’m one of those people. I could go on Survivor and I wouldn’t be good at the climbing and all of the physical stuff, but I could eat anything. Just so you know. That’s my secret skill. Give me a cockroach, I’ll eat it! Spider, I’ll eat it! You name it, I’ve tried it. I’m adventurous.”
