Parisa Fitz-Henley and Murray Fraser are getting ready for the premiere of Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance!

The duo, who portray Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in the upcoming Lifetime flick, stopped by the Today show on Tuesday (May 8) in New York City.

During the show, Parisa revealed she had wanted to portray Meghan from the moment she heard about the royal couple.

“It was after I saw the engagement interview they did I said ‘I’m so taken with this woman and this couple. It would just be fun to audition,’” Parisa explained.

It looks like things worked out for Parisa!

Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance premieres on May 13th.

Murray Fraser and Parisa Fitz-Henley hit the red carpet at the premiere of their upcoming Lifetime movie Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance on Thursday (May 3) at The Peninsula Beverly Hills in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The actors – who are playing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the movie – attended the afternoon tea party to chat up their new TV movie.

The first trailer for the upcoming Lifetime movie Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance has been released!

The movie stars Parisa Fitz-Henley in the role of Meghan Markle and Murray Fraser as her fiance Prince Harry.

Lifetime will be airing the movie on May 13, just days before Harry and Meghan tie the knot in real life on May 19.

The song that is featured in the clip is “You Are the Reason” by Calum Scott and you can hear it on his brand new album Only Human.

The first photos from Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, the Lifetime movie based on the story of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s romance, have just debuted!

The movie stars Parisa Fitz-Henley and Murray Fraser in the title roles.

In addition, the photos feature Burgess Abernethy and Laura Mitchell as Prince William and Kate Middleton, Preston Karwat and Briella Wintraub as Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Steve Coulter as Prince Charles and Deborah Ramsey as Camilla, Bonnie Soper as Princess Diana, and Maggie Sullivun as Queen Elizabeth II.

Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance has started filming and there are new photos of the stars portraying Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!

Murray Fraser, who is playing Prince Harry, and Parisa Fitz-Henley, who is playing Meghan Markle, can been seen on the set of the Lifetime movie on Wednesday (February 14) in Vancouver, Canada.

While the film does not have a set release date, it will reportedly air sometime around their wedding date. The royal wedding is set for Saturday (May 19) at Windsor Castle.

The roles of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been cast for the upcoming Lifetime movie.

Murray Fraser, known for his work on The Loch, and Parisa Fitz-Henley, known for her work on Jessica Jones, will play the title roles.

The film, titled Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, will center around the romance between the future royal married couple, THR reports

Production is slated to begin this week in Vancouver and Los Angeles, and the movie will debut on the channel sometime in the Spring. The royal wedding date is set for May 19.
