Olivia Culpo hits the red carpet while attending the 2015 Miss Universe pageant on Sunday (December 20) at The Axis at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nev.

The 23-year-old former Miss USA was joined at the event by Niecy Nash, Charlie Puth, Roselyn Sanchez, Kimberly, Neil and Reid Perry from The Band Perry, Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega and Miss USA 2013 Erin Brady.

Olivia, who served as a judge, took to her Instagram to comment on Steve Harvey announcing the wrong winner and having to correct himself live on stage.

“Poor Steve Harvey.. But I respect that he rectified the situation,” Olivia captioned with her post. “All the women tonight were so beautiful. Just to be there representing their home countries is an incredible honor. Millions of women look up to you! Proud of everyone tonight #missuniverse2015 @missuniverse.”

Miss Colombia Paulina Vega wears her crown and holds her bouquet of flowers after winning the 2015 Miss Universe Pageant held at Florida International University on Sunday (January 25) in Miami, Fla.

The 22-year-old beauty queen beat out 87 contestants from other countries around the world for the big prize. While the competition took place in 2015, it awarded the 2014 winner.

Coming in second place was Miss USA Nia Sanchez followed by Miss Ukraine Diana Harkusha.

Paulina is a business administration student who had never competed in pageants before the contests leading up to Miss Universe. She plans on getting back to her studies and this will be her final pageant, according to the Associated Press.

“It will be a dream come true to represent the woman of today,” Paulina said earlier this week. “A woman that not only care about being beautiful and being glamorous, but also cares about being a professional, intelligent, hard-working person.”
