Todrick Hall Says He Resorted to 'A Few Regina George Moments' Amid Scooter Braun Feud

Todrick Hall is on the cover of Billboard‘s annual PRIDE issue, out now.

Here’s what the 35-year-old Quarantine Queen entertainer had to say…

On why he still feels like an outsider in the industry: “People have put me on a pedestal and think that I am signed to a label and that I have management. I am blown away by their ignorance on how the industry works…I am flattered that my team and I have been able to make people believe that we are on that same level.”

On comments from internet “trolls”: “I feel that the hate I receive on the internet comes mostly from people of color and people who are part of the LGBTQ+ community. It’s almost like we like complaining about the fact that there isn’t enough representation, but then when the representation in there and it doesn’t come in the exact package or the exact size the we wished it had been, we bash that as well.”

Taylor Swift, on how Todrick Hall inspired her to be more vocal about LGBTQ equality: “From day one, Todrick has always been very honest with me about his life and his experiences as a gay man of color…he never felt the need to edit who he is around me or be a different version of himself. I think that unapologetic sense of self is also what people connect to in his work. He’s just Todrick. He’s never EVER going to even attempt to be anyone else.”

On his feud with Scooter Braun: “I don’t think that Scooter is a horrible villain the way that it may have been painted in the past — the way I have helped paint it in the past… I genuinely attempted several times to talk to him from a place of love, but with my wounds from being Black and gay in America, and his ego, it was difficult to get through. So I resorted to a few Regina George moments I’m not necessarily proud of.”

Todrick Hall Goes Off on Kim Kardashian Over Taylor Swift Statements: 'You Self Absorbed, Stubborn Little Queef'

Todrick Hall went off on Kim Kardashian in a series of posts about the Taylor Swift “Famous” phone call leak. Todrick obviously saw Kim‘s response to the new leak, where she called Taylor a liar.

“I CANNOT STAND THIS WOMAN! Kim Kardashian posted these on her story, and clearly is still missing the point,” Todrick wrote in a series of now-deleted posts.

“1. Taylor didn’t reignite anything, Kris probably leaked this footage her damn self. 2. After your Ray J video and publicly documenting every crevice of your vagina … I HIGHLY doubt that you’re embarrassed NOW to respond to this….3. Just apologize, you self absorbed, entitled, stubborn little queef.”

“She was CLEARLY uncomfortable with the situation & after you publicly embarrass someone TWICE on national television, I think these calls should be going through management or some legit form of professional contact,” Todrick continued.

“Would it be SOOO difficult for her to just say ‘I’m sorry Taylor. I didn’t think about the fact that we didn’t tell you you were being recorded,’” he continued. “‘We called you out of the blue asking you to promote my husbands music THAT ISN’T YOURS after he’s acted like a damn good in front of millions and hasn’t publicly apologized. I don’t make music and I never thought of how this put an even larger target on your back than there already was and for that I apologize. Hope we can be friends in the future.’”

Todrick Hall Reacts to BFF Taylor Swift's Phone Call with Kanye West - Read His Tweets!

Todrick Hall has taken to Twitter to react to the leaked phone call between his friend Taylor Swift and rapper Kanye West.

Back in 2016, Kanye called Taylor on the phone to talk to her about his song “Famous,” in which she was referenced. The phone call was recorded without her knowledge and Kanye‘s wife Kim Kardashian released an edited portion to try and prove that she was aware of the lyrics in the song.

Now, the full phone call has leaked online and we can see that Taylor was never told she would be called a “b-tch” in the song.

“My heart breaks listening to that phone call, the fact that she even picked up the phone and wasted her valuable time to listen to that nincompoop speak is just a testament to how great a human she is. #KanyeWestIsOverParty,” Todrick began in a series of nine tweets.

When fellow judge Oti Mabuse said she wanted to have a baby daughter so she could grow up and marry the young tap dancer they were all watching, Todrick chimed in.

“Well maybe you could date him a few years after he was on the show, that’s been done before,” Todrick joked, knowingly looking over Cheryl‘s shoulder.

If you didn’t know, Cheryl first met Liam when he auditioned for The X Factor in 2008 when he was just 14 years old, and she was a judge. They eventually dated in 2016 until 2018, and have one son: Bear.

Cheryl made a face and narrowed her eyes at Todrick, yelling “The shade!” and then promising jokingly: “Oh, I’ll get you back.”

Todrick Hall Reveals How Quick Things Can Get Taken Out Of Context In Series of Tweets About Press Interviews

Todrick Hall is opening up on Twitter about the truth behind press interviews, following his latest with Attitude magazine coming out.

The 34-year-old entertainer got real about what happens with celeb interviews and how things can quickly be taken out of context.

“I’m just going to put this out there, not for people who are looking for new reasons to not like me, but for people who actually seek the truth because I’m going to be doing a lot of press coming up surrounding the show I’m doing in the UK,” he first wrote.

Todrick adds, “One of the reasons celebs don’t enjoy doing press is because people want you to come across natural, unrehearsed and ‘real’ but everything you say can be taken out of context and used to feed cancel culture. Sometimes a word or phrase may be used that doesn’t exactly represent how the artist feels because it’s their 12th interview in a day, in a different time zone, and they’re sleep deprived, etc.”

“I think we should be looking at the bigger picture and understanding the overall message of what someone is trying to say rather than looking for reasons to re-cancel someone.”
