'Sister Act 3' Starring Whoopi Goldberg Confirmed for Disney+

Disney has confirmed that Whoopi Goldberg will be reprising her role as Deloris in the upcoming movie Sister Act 3!

The movie will go directly to Disney+ as an exclusive film for the company’s streaming service.

The first Sister Act movie was released in 1992 and the sequel came out just one year later. We’ve been waiting a long time to learn more about Deloris’ story and we can’t wait for the next installment to the franchise!

It was also announced that Tyler Perry has signed on to produce the film alongside Whoopi.

Back in October, Whoopi confirmed that the movie was in the works and now it’s finally confirmed. She also recently revealed the amazing thing she did while working on the first movie and found out that the actors playing the nuns were not getting the pay they deserved.
