Siesta Key season four returns TONIGHT (March 10) on MTV and one topic that will be covered is Juliette Porter‘s breakup with Sam Logan.

In a recent interview ahead of the premiere, the 24-year-old reality star and swimsuit designer opened up about why the couple split up.

“I learned so much from this relationship with Sam and just this whole season,” she told E! News. “I think that you really have to put yourself first sometimes and focus on what’s important to you and what you want in your life and the values you want in a person that’s in your life.”

Juliette notes that she broke up with Sam because it “just wasn’t working.”

“We weren’t connecting,” she said. “I was getting emotionally drained. He didn’t have the same thoughts as me on anything. He wasn’t supporting me. And ultimately, you just have to put yourself first above what other people want from you.”

Prior to Sam, Juliette also dated Bachelor In Paradise‘s Robby Hayes, as well as former Siesta Key co-star Alex Kompethecras.
