One of the original stars of MTV reality show Siesta Key has unexpectedly been fired from the series!
The cast member revealed the news on Instagram on Friday morning (August 5), just hours after they were told they were “cut moving forward.”
This also isn’t the first time this year that one of the original cast members has been cut from the show.

Alex Kompothecras is being removed from Siesta Key.
The 25-year-old star of the reality TV show was fired on the night of the show’s Season 3 premiere on Tuesday (June 16), the show confirmed in a statement on Twitter.
“We’ve made the decision to cut ties with Alex and are editing the current season to minimize his presence. He will not be in future seasons of Siesta Key.”
Alex was fired after racist comments and white supremacist posts allegedly made by himself resurfaced, and then began circulating online among fan accounts, according to People.
He previously came under fire for being tied to a viral video of a heinous shark incident.
His firing also comes just as MTV’s The Challenge cut ties with a contestant for a similar reason…
