35 Stars Who Regret Their TV & Movie Roles & The Real Reasons Why

Jennifer Lawrence

Kristen Stewart, Charlie’s Angels, Happiest Season

Kristen played a game of Know Your Lines, and when a line from the Charlie’s Angels reboot came up, she said: “I hated making that movie. I don’t know what else to say to you.”

“Honestly, the three… you can’t touch (that),” she said of the previous movies before the reboot. “Cameron, Lucy and Drew…I love that movie. I love that movie. If that says anything.”

She would later discuss her frustration with her 2020 rom-com, Happiest Season, in an interview with Them.

“The identity was beaten out of my goals there. I was getting so many studio executive notes about my hair and my clothes. I was like, ‘You did read the script. You did hire me. What are we doing here?’ It was f-cking annoying. And it’s fine, because I guess there are ways that you need to shroud things for everyone to easily digest. And I’m down with that. And honestly, f-cking hats off to Clea [DuVall, director], because I don’t have the patience [to do] that,” she said.

Jennifer Lawrence, Passengers

“I was like, ‘Oh no, you guys are here because I’m here, and I’m here because you’re here. Wait, who decided that this was a good movie?’” Jennifer said of disappointing her fanbase by taking on the role.

“Adele told me not to do it! She was like, ‘I feel like space movies are the new vampire movies.’ I should have listened to her,” she revealed. The movie currently has a 30% Rotten Tomatoes score.
