Frances Reid & Macdonald Carey as Alice & Tom Horton – Recast!

The recent destruction of the Horton family house has allowed for plans to delve into the history of Alice and Tom Horton, beloved characters integral to the fabric of Salem and the essence of Days of Our Lives. Flashbacks to their early years will introduce a new generation of viewers to their significance.

Sydney K. Smith and Zach Chyz have been cast to portray young versions of Alice and Tom, roles originally brought to life by Frances Reid and Macdonald Carey.

Though other families have taken prominence, the Hortons’ legacy endures through their descendants and traditions like the annual Christmas tree decorating party. Despite the loss of the Horton family home, there’s optimism that their legacy will endure, keeping the spirit of Days of Our Lives alive for years to come.
