Palace Responds to Sexual Misconduct Allegations Against Prince Andrew From Inside Jeffrey Epstein's Apartment
Prince Andrew, the second-born son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, was named in court papers released last week in connection to his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
If you don’t know, Epstein allegedly died by suicide in his jail cell over the weekend. Epstein had charges relating to sex trafficking of minor girls at his homes in New York and Florida.
A day before his death, several court documents were released and one of those court documents mentions Prince Andrew. In a 2016 deposition, a woman named Johanna Sjoberg claimed that Prince Andrew touched her breast in 2001 at Epstein‘s Manhattan apartment.
Buckingham Palace told NBC in a statement, “This relates to proceedings in the United States, to which The Duke of York is not a party. Any suggestion of impropriety with underage minors is categorically untrue.”
