This year, Chris Young leads with seven nominations. Morgan Wallen, who has been embroiled in controversy over his use of a racial slur, received four nominations.

Dolly Parton is set to host the 2022 ACM Awards (aka the Academy of Country Music Awards!)
This year, instead of being broadcast on TV, the show will air live via streaming on March 7 on Prime Video.

ACM Awards Moves to Amazon, Will Become a Streaming Event
The Academy of Country Music Awards will no longer be airing on CBS and the awards show has found a new home.
The show will be moving to Amazon Prime Video for the upcoming 2022 ceremony, marking the first time that a major awards show will be streamed live on an SVOD platform, according to Deadline.
The ACM Awards have been airing on CBS since 1998, but thanks to the ViacomCBS merger, the network will begin airing the CMT Music Awards starting next year. That show will air on CBS in April, the same month that the ACM Awards usually air on the network.
