Alicia Vikander got the support of her husband Michael Fassbender while being honored at the 2023 Karlovy Vary Film Festival.

The 34-year-old actress was presented with the President’s Award while attending the opening ceremony for the festival on Friday night (June 30) in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic.

Alicia‘s new movie Firebrand also served as the opening night selection of the festival!

Last month, Alicia and Michael made a rare red carpet appearance while attending the film’s premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.

The movie follows the marriage of Henry VIII and his final wife Catherine Parr. (If you didn’t know, the Broadway musical Six follows the six wives of the king.)

Jude Law and Alicia Vikander step out for the photo call in support of their new movie Firebrand during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

The two stars met up with director Karim Aïnouz, and co-stars Sam Riley, Mina Andala, Amr Waked, Junia Rees, and Patrick Buckley for the event, which was followed by a press conference.

During the panel, Jude opened up about the lengths he went to in order to become King Henry VIII – he mixed a special scent with puss, blood, fecal matter and sweat. It was made special from a British perfumer for Jude for the movie.

“I thought it would have a great impact if I smelled awful,” he joked. “Because you could smell (the real) Henry three rooms away.”

Alicia added that “Every camera operator was hurling. Jude, you were really wonderfully terrifying!”

Just the night before, Jude and Alicia hit the red carpet for the premiere of the film.

Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender looked all loved up on the red carpet for the premiere of her new movie, Firebrand.

The cute couple walked the red carpet together at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on Sunday night (May 21) with her co-stars, including Sam Riley, and director Karim Aïnouz.

Chatting with THR, Alicia revealed that she did her research into playing Catherine Parr, the last wife of Henry VIII, played by Jude.

“No one really cared that she was the first woman in British history that published books under her own name,” she shared, before adding that Parr was “managing this danger and person next to [her] all the time. To survive that, you have to be very delicate and clever.”

Real life married couple Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander have booked their second film together!

The 34-year-old actress and 45-year-old actor will co-star in the thriller Hope from acclaimed Korean director Na Hong-Jin. Interestingly enough, the film will be primarily in Korean.

Deadline reports that Alicia and Michael‘s roles will be English-speaking, and they wanted to do this project because they wanted to work with this director after viewing and enjoying his previous work.

Zendaya unleashes her inner wildcat in a chic animal print look for Louis Vuitton’s Womenswear Fall Winter 2023-2024 show during Paris Fashion Week in France on Monday (March 6).

Held at the Musee d’Orsay, the 26-year-old Dune actress hugged it out with Nicolas Ghesquière backstage before heading to the front row alongside the likes of Emma Stone, Alicia Vikander, and Oscar nominees Ana de Armas and Kerry Condon.

Chloe Grace Moretz, Sophie Turner, Phoebe Dynevor, Jurnee Smollett, The White Lotus‘ Meghann Fahy, Lea Seydoux, Shay Mitchell, Jaden Smith, Samara Weaving, and sports stars Venus Williams and Eileen Gu were also at the fashion presentation.

Pharrell Williams was also at the show. He was recently appointed the brand’s new creative director last month.

Emma and Alicia have been attending the show together for quite a while, after both won their Oscars in 2017 and 2016, respectively.

Held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Saturday night (October 15) in Los Angeles, the 45-year-old actress joined her Good Nurse co-star Eddie Redmayne for the event.

The duo were joined by Emma Stone and Alicia Vikander at the event, and all four are Oscar winners!
