Jennifer Lawrence looks stunning in her sheer top while attending the Dinner for Equality on Thursday night (February 25) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 25-year-old actress gave a speech at the event, which was co-hosted by Patricia Arquette and Marc Benioff. There were performances from such stars as Stevie Wonder and India.Arie!

Other celebs in attendance included Reese Witherspoon, Lily Tomlin, Marisa Tomei, Minka Kelly, Petra Nemcova, David Blaine, James Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly, and Hayley Kiyoko.

FYI: Jennifer is wearing a Naeem Khan outfit and Sophia Webster shoes. Petra is wearing a Halston Heritage dress and Salvatore Ferragamo shoes and clutch. Marisa is wearing Sylva & Cie.

The 50-year-old actress and Edward, 46, were joined by Kal Penn, David Blaine, Doc Shaw, musician Clarence Greenwood, opera singer Carla Dirlikov, and John Lloyd Young at the event celebrating the Turnaround Arts Program coming to New York City schools.

Lake Bell gets in between her co-stars Pierce Brosnan and Owen Wilson while attending the special screening of their latest film No Escape held at the Dolby 88 Theater on Monday (August 24) in New York City.

The three stars were joined at the event by David Blaine, model Alex Lundqvist and his wife Keytt Lundqvist as they all came out to show their support for the flick.

“Part of why I love being an actor is the opportunity to be able to go to distant lands and take on different worlds and concepts and pretend to take on different occupations and statuses,” Lake expressed (via Esquire). “And this movie was so far from anything I’d ever done before. Not even just the character�”because the character was somewhat relatable to myself�”but taking on the vast concept of uprooting your whole life and going somewhere else. We’ve all had this nightmare in our head, because there has been so much unrest in the world at large. Being helpless in a country where you can’t speak [the language] or navigate the road signs. What I loved about the script initially was that this was not an action picture only�”this is an emotional story about a family.”

Madonna arrives in a black and white outfit to a yacht to set sail on Thursday (August 7) in Cannes, France.

The 55-year-old entertainer is in town with her family and friends to celebrate her 56th birthday a bit early – the big day is on August 16.

Magic man David Blaine set a new world record for holding his breath underwater for 17 minutes and 4 seconds today in Chicago on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

“A lifelong dream,” a glad Blaine, 35, told Oprah moments after setting the record in a water-filled sphere. “I can’t believe that I did that.”

Less than two years ago, Blaine went into convulsions during a similar attempt. The previous record was 16 minutes and 32 seconds.

Blaine‘s record-breaker will air on Oprah this afternoon.
