Kristin Chenoweth is talking life in quarantine!

During a new interview, the 52-year-old Tony and Emmy-winning actress chatted about how she and boyfriend Josh Bryant stayed busy while under quarantine together.

“We managed to stay creative and still have a good time,” Kristin shared with People, referencing how the couple made TikTok videos together, and filmed a Tiger King musical parody titled “Little Pieces.”

The couple also made sure they were able to spend some necessary time apart from each other.

“He took a couple of walks on his own, as did I, because you just can’t be with someone 24/7,” Kristin admitted. “That’s the truth. And yet we managed to make it work somehow.”

Kristin and Josh have been dating for over two years now.

Kristin also credits Josh for getting her up to speed on TikTok, which she joined back in March.

“My boyfriend is 14 years younger than me. Thus, I’m good at TikTok,” Kristin said with a laugh. “I didn’t know what TikTok was, I didn’t necessarily want to do TikTok. Now I love TikTok with his help.”

The highly anticipated remake of The Witches was supposed to hit theaters this month, but the movie will be released on HBO Max instead!

Anne Hathaway, Octavia Spencer, and Stanley Tucci star in director Robert Zemeckis‘ fantasy adventure based on the classic story by Roald Dahl.

The Witches tells the darkly humorous and heartwarming tale of a young orphaned boy (newcomer Jahzir Kadeem Bruno) who, in late 1967, goes to live with his loving Grandma (Spencer) in the rural Alabama town of Demopolis. As the boy and his grandmother encounter some deceptively glamorous but thoroughly diabolical witches, she wisely whisks our young hero away to an opulent seaside resort. Regrettably, they arrive at precisely the same time that the world’s Grand High Witch (Hathaway) has gathered her fellow cronies from around the globe—undercover—to carry out her nefarious plans.

Also starring in the movie are Kristin Chenoweth, Chris Rock, and Codie-Lei Eastick. The screenplay was written by Zemeckis with Oscar winner Guillermo del Toro and black-ish creator Kenya Barris.

The movie will start streaming on HBO Max on October 22. Watch the trailer below!

Apple TV+ has announced a new musical comedy series is in the works and a star-studded cast is attached!

SNL creator Lorne Michaels is executive producing the series, which was created by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio.

Emmy nominee Cecily Strong will lead the cast as Melissa in the new series, which doesn’t have a title yet. The new comedy series follows a couple on a backpacking trip designed to reinvigorate their relationship when they discover a magical town in which everyone acts as if they’re in a musical from the 1940s. They then discover that they can’t leave until they find “true love.”

Kristin Chenoweth has been set as the host of the upcoming Food Network competition series Candy Land, which is based on the Hasbro children’s game of the same name.

Variety reports that the network has ordered six episodes of the game show, which features “five groups of cake and sugar artists, who create showpieces in order to get a chance to win a grand prize of $25,000.”

The players will make their way through “Candy Land” while searching for unique ingredients and flavors to use while trying to reach King Kandy’s Castle.

“I’m so excited for the world to see these talented confectionery artists and the incredible set,” Kristin said in a statement. “And I can’t wait to wear a dress again.”

Food Network president Courtney White added, “We are thrilled to be able to offer our audience an escape to this magical land, and with Kristin Chenoweth as host, there is nobody better at taking viewers on this immersive journey for some fun and excitement.”

Kristin Chenoweth is getting emotional while paying tribute to Naya Rivera, who tragically died due to drowning while out boating with her son, Josey.

The Tony Award-winning actress and singer spoke out on her Instagram Story on Monday (July 13) following the confirmation that Naya‘s body was recovered at Lake Piru.

“A long time ago, I was invited to be a guest star on a show called Glee, and I had the honor of meeting all my babies, those kids…they still make me proud. I want them to know I still love them and I’m proud of them. And with Naya gone, I know how that hurts them,” she said.

“She was such a sweet, sweet child…my friend, John Sawyer, passed away on Mother’s Day, my longest and oldest friend, and I thought maybe John was up in Heaven with her preparing the way. Just want to tell y’all not to lose help. It’s going to be okay,” she said while crying.
