There are some major updates in Kevin Spacey‘s sexual misconduct trial.
If you’re unaware, the former House of Cards actor is on trial for sexual assault, after claims he sexually abused a 14-year-old Anthony Rapp in the 1980s when Kevin was 26.
The trial picked back up on Monday (October 17) in New York City, and new details about the assault and charges were revealed.

Anthony Rapp is getting candid about his alleged experience with Kevin Spacey.
The 50-year-old actor has claimed that the 63-year-old House of Cards star had an inappropriate encounter with him at his Manhattan apartment in 1986, which would make Kevin 26 at the time, when Anthony was 14.
Anthony first came forward with his assault story against Kevin in 2017.

Anthony Rapp took the stand on Friday (October 7), recalling his sexual assault encounter from Kevin Spacey when he was just 14 years old.
The now 50-year-old actor, who is best known for Rent, Adventures in Babysitting, and Star Trek: Discovery, recounted his experience with the disgraced House of Cards actor.
Anthony first came forward with his assault story against Kevin in 2017.

Judith received GLAAD’s Excellence in Media Award presented by Ariana, and Wilson received the Vito Russo Award.
The event also featured special performances from Dove, and Michael R. Jackson.
In addition to celebrating the award recipients, the ceremony spotlighted pressing issues affecting the LGBTQ community, including anti-trans youth legislation, the importance of centering stories of people living with HIV, passage of the Equality Act, and registration of LGBTQ voters in the upcoming midterm elections.

Two of the stars of Rent are together again!
Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp reunited for a performance during the 2020 Tony Awards on Sunday (September 26) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.
While on stage, Adam and Anthony performed “What You Own.”
If you didn’t know, Adam and Anthony starred together as Roger and Mark in Rent when it first debuted on Broadway 25 years ago, back in 1996. They also starred in the London run of Rent in 1998.
Adam and Anthony reprised their roles in the film adaptation of Rent, which was released in 2005.
The two returned to Rent on Broadway for a run from July 2007 to October 2007. Anthony and Adam also reprised their roles for the national tour of Rent in 2009.
