The 22-year-old singer spoke honestly to her fans for four minutes after fans wanted more answers as to why she was licking the donuts on display.
“I’m making this video from wisdom tooth recovery hell. I just want to make a video to apologize again for the whole doughnut fiasco and craziness because I feel like the apology I posted, I kind of missed my opportunity to actually sincerely apologize and express how I was feeling because I was too busy preaching about my feelings with the food industry, which is not relative,” Ariana said to begin the video. “I feel I could have expressed myself in a different way.”
“Seeing a video of yourself behaving poorly that you had no idea was taken is such a rude awakening. I was so disgusted with myself. I shoved my face in a pillow and wanted to disappear, but instead of that I’m going to come forward, own up to what I did, take responsibility, and say I’m sorry,” Ariana continued. “I reacted in a way that wasn’t necessary to say the least and also wasn’t me at all. I apologize for my poor choice of words and my behavior. Seeing how ugly it looks when you behave a certain way makes you never want to behave that way again.”
It looks like Ariana Grande is in even more hot water after her donut-licking video surfaced – it is now being investigated by the police and the Environmental Health department.
Dottie Ellis-Merki, a spokeswoman for the Riverside County Department of Environmental Health, said in an email, “During the investigation, the manager did state they normally don’t leave donuts out like was shown in the video,” she wrote (via the AP). “The employee went to the back to retrieve freshly made donuts by request of the customer [Grande] and left the trays out while getting other trays.”

Ariana‘s reps declined to comment about the police investigation.
Ariana Grande has released a statement after she was caught on security camera footage saying “I hate America.”
The 22-year-old singer was seen in the video with her backup dancer (and rumored new boyfriend Ricky Alvarez) while stopping in the Wolfee Donuts shop. They seemingly licked some of the donuts on display before Ariana made the comments about America.
“I am EXTREMELY proud to be an American and I’ve always made it clear that I love my country. What I said in a private moment with my friend, who was buying the donuts, was taken out of context and I am sorry for not using more discretion with my choice of words,” Ariana said in a statement. “As an advocate for healthy eating, food is very important to me and I sometimes get upset by how freely we as Americans eat and consume things without giving any thought to the consequences that it has on our health and society as a whole.”
