A deadly tornado with winds up to 200 mph has killed at least 51 people and wounded 120 others, who are being treated at hospitals, on Monday (May 20) in Moore, Okla..

The tornado caused great destruction for over 40 minutes and officials are aiming to work all night to find survivors.

This tragic tornado has lead many celebrities offering their condolences to those affected by the natural disaster.

“Growing up in tornado alley, you always know what could happen,” Carrie Underwood, who grew up in Oklahoma, tweeted. “It doesn’t change how devastating it is when something does happen.”

Here’s what the 30-year-old entertainer had to share with the mag:

On having kids: “I don’t feel old enough to have kids. I know I am mature. But being responsible for another human?”

On her personality: “I’m not a mushy person at all. We were never a huggy family. Or a ‘let’s talk it out’ family. Technically I have siblings but they are quite a bit older than me – I was the accident – so I have the only-child syndrome going on. I’m a little more selfish, a little more independent, a little closed. I do wish I were softer. I wish I were able to form relationships better. But hey, I mean…I’m not a sociopath.”

On being awkward: “My husband calls me the queen of awkward moments. Anything that can be made awkward, I will make it awkward.”

Carrie Underwood rocks a floral dress on the red carpet at the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (April 7) in Las Vegas, Nev.

The 30-year-old country singer is nominated for two awards this evening – Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for Blown Away.

She is up against Kacey Musgraves, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert, and Taylor Swift for Female Vocalist of the Year and Eric Church, Taylor Swift, Little Big Town, and Luke Bryan for Album of the Year.

Carrie, who was joined on the red carpet by Faith Hill and Shania Twain, is also set to perform during the show this evening!

FYI: Carrie is wearing a Naeem Khan dress and David Yurman chandelier earrings and pinky ring.

Carrie Underwood belts out her new single “See You Again” during a performance on the American Idol Results Show on Thursday (April 4).

The 30-year-old singer looked stunning in a peach Oliver Tolentino Couture gown during the show.

“I saw the package they’re running for me on @AmericanIdol tonight. There’s new footage from my Idol days! Oh, the farm girl that I was! :)” Carrie tweeted. “I feel so blessed to be a part of @AmericanIdol! We had a wonderful time! Thank you for all you have made possible for me. Love you guys!”

Carrie Underwood and LeAnn Rimes take the stage at day two of the Country 2 Country festival held at the O2 Arena on Sunday (March 17) in London, England.

The 30-year-old country stars performed for the packed crowd at the huge event.

“Incredible crowd tonight at @The_O2 arena tonight for the @C2Cofficial festival! All I can say is “Wow!” and “Thank you!” #amazed” Carrie wrote on her Twitter account.
