Carrie Underwood Feat. Ludacris: 'The Champion' Stream, Lyrics & Download - Listen Now!

Carrie Underwood returns with a new song called “The Champion,” which you can listen to right here!

The song, which features Ludacris, is to be featured during NBC’s 2018 Olympic Winter Games coverage, and was released on Friday (January 12).

Carrie will also open NBC’s Super Bowl LLI on February 4 with a music video filmed last year for “The Champion.”

“When we were writing ‘The Champion,’ our main focus was to celebrate athletes at the top of their game, but we also wanted the song to resonate with people in their everyday lives. We hope the lyrics will inspire people to push themselves beyond their limits to conquer anything they are trying to accomplish or overcome. There’s a champion in every single one of us!” says Carrie.

Carrie Underwood Photographed for First Time After Bad Fall

Back in November, Carrie Underwood took a bad fall at her home and needed surgery. She told fans the fall was so bad, she needed “40 to 50″ stitches in her face as a result of the injuries.

The first photo of Carrie has emerged since her injury and it was posted by reality show star Adrienne Gang, who is an alum of the show Below Deck.

“Just worked out next to @carrieunderwood NBD… she is adorable and so gracious… LOVE HER! #BelowDeck,” Adrienne captioned the photo from December 12, 2017. Fans were commenting how great Carrie looks in the photo, and Adrienne posted a few thoughts too.

“I had no clue she was injured…,” Adrienne tweeted, and also responded to someone asking if Carrie was wearing heavy makeup to cover up any scarring, saying, “Not that I noticed! She looked great!”

Carrie Underwood Needed Over 40 Stitches in Her Face After Fall

Carrie Underwood still has a long road to recovery following her fall back in November.

Several weeks ago, the 34-year-old country star revealed that she fell off some steps at her house which required her needing surgery on her wrist, and she is revealing now that she is still healing from severe cuts to her face.

“There is also another part of the story that I haven’t been ready to talk about since I have still been living it and there has been much uncertainty as to how things will end up,” Carrie opened up in a post to her fan club members. “It’s crazy how a freak random accident can change your life.”

Carrie went on to share that the cuts were so bad that she needed “40 to 50 stitches” to her face after the fall.

“I honestly don’t know how things are going to end up but I do know this: I am grateful,” Carrie wrote. “I am grateful that it wasn’t much, much worse. And I am grateful for the people in my life that have been there every step of the way.”

Carrie Underwood Undergoes Surgery After Fall: 'All Went Well'

Carrie Underwood underwent surgery on Tuesday (November 14) after falling and breaking her wrist this past week at her home in Tennessee.

The 34-year-old country star provided an update for fans last week after she was hospitalized.

Moments ago, Carrie tweeted another update, revealing she underwent surgery.

“I just wanted let everyone know that I’m doing great. Had surgery on my wrist yesterday & all went well…even though I’ll be setting off airport metal detectors from now on…I’m so thankful for the doctors, nurses, family & friends who’ve been taking such great care of me,” Carrie posted.

Carrie Underwood Hospitalized After Breaking Wrist, Tweets Update for Fans

Carrie Underwood suffered a fall on some steps at her home on Friday (November 10), and she was taken to the hospital for non life threatening injuries.

The 34-year-old country music star broke her wrist and suffered cuts and abrasions, her rep told a Tennessee news station. She has since pulled out of tonight’s Country Rising music festival.

“Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody…I’ll be alright…might just take some time…glad I’ve got the best hubby in the world to take care of me,” Carrie posted on Twitter moments ago.

Carrie Underwood Performs 'Softly and Tenderly' During 'In Memorium' Tribute at CMA Awards 2017

Carrie Underwood brought the audience to tears with a moving performance of Christian hymn “Softly and Tenderly.”

The 34-year-old country superstar paid homage to those we’ve lost in the past year at the 2017 CMA Awards at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (November 8) in Nashville, Tenn.

The “In Memorium” segment paid tribute to the 58 shooting victims of the Route 91 Harvest music festival in Las Vegas, as well as the legendary performers who recently passed away, including Glen Campbell, Don Williams and Troy Gentry.

In addition to performing, Carrie also served as a co-host for the evening.
