Usher‘s role in Justin Bieber‘s career is written in history. However, it very nearly could have been Justin Timberlake that signed the pop star.

In a recent interview, the “Yeah” crooner looked back on signing Bieber to his label alongside Scooter Braun. In doing so, he recalled that he was in a “bidding war” with Timberlake to secure the deal.

He opened up about the golden opportunity and even revealed the case that he made to Scooter, which helped him emerge victorious.

Justin Timberlake celebrated his birthday with Jessica Biel.

The newly 43-year-old “Selfish” crooner stepped out with his wife in New York City on Wednesday night (January 31) after performing a show for his fans at Irving Plaza.

Casually dressed in a pair of joggers and a long tan jacket, Justin held hands with Jessica as they walked through a crowd of fans. She looked chic in a pair of oversized jeans, which she paired with a black jacket and white t-shirt.

The outing comes amid renewed attention on Justin‘s apparent feud with famous ex Britney Spears, which boiled over again during his concert.

It appears that Britney Spears‘ feud with Justin Timberlake is evolving yet again.

If you need a quick reminder, the pair was one of the most famous couples of the early 2000s before splitting up in 2002. Afterwards, Justin appeared to diss Britney with his breakup single “Cry Me a River,” and they’ve exchanged some seemingly shady comments over the years.

Their relationship became breaking news again with the release of Britney‘s memoir The Woman In Me, which featured a multitude of revelations about their time together. Justin was dragged by Britney‘s fans, who came to her defense.

Things reached a fever pitch last week when Britney‘s fans pushed an old bonus track called “Selfish” up the charts to overshadow Justin‘s new single of the same name.

Britney showed some love to Justin on social media in a since-deleted apology. However, her ex did not appear to accept her apology and threw some more apparent shade during a recent performance.
