The first teaser trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is finally here!

In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

Are you a fan of The Office? Did you know that Steve Carell almost didn’t play the iconic role of Michael Scott?

While the show went on to become a massive success over its nine seasons, there were several stars who were considered for the role before Steve ultimately landed it. In fact, according to Andy Greene‘s book The Office: The Untold Story of the Greatest Sitcom of the 2000s, at least 35 actors were considered and two even declined the role.

Imagine how different the show might have been if someone else had played Michael Scott!

The Office continues to be a beloved and highly influential show in modern television history, thanks in no small part to Steve Carell‘s iconic portrayal of Michael Scott.

Kumail Nanjiani and Patton Oswalt are the newest actors to join the upcoming sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

Deadline reports that the two actors will join returning stars Paul Rudd and Carrie Coon in the flick, which is said to be set in New York City and feature the original film’s firehouse.

The film is expected to be out in December this year, with Gil Kenan and Jason Reitman switching roles as the film’s writer/exec producer and director.

“It’s an absolute honor to pick up the proton pack and step behind the camera for the next chapter of the Spengler family saga,” Gil shared in a previous statement. “I just wish I could go back to 1984 and tell the kid in the sixth row of the Mann Valley West that one day he was going to get to direct a Ghostbusters film.”

Ghostbusters joins these other great films as one of the highest-grossing horror films of all time.

The two Wednesday stars were joined by so many other stars including Glass Onion star Kate Hudson, Dead To Me‘s James Marsden and more for the event held at Catch LA on Sunday night (January 8) in West Hollywood, Calif.

Eddie Redmayne, Niecy Nash-Betts and wife Jessica Betts, filmmakers Rian Johnson and Guillermo del Toro, Patton Oswalt and Meredith Salenger, Lisa Lu, Christopher MacDonald, Rita Ora, Taika Waititi, Riki Lindhome, and Keegan-Michael Key were also spotted inside the party.

Keke Palmer hits the blue carpet for the 2022 Newport Beach Film Festival honors program held at The Balboa Bay Club and Resort on Sunday (October 16) in Newport Beach, Calif.

The 29-year-old actress was just one of the honorees at the festival, where she picked up Variety’s Artist of Distinction Award.

“It means so much because so much of it has to do with my community and how I use my work to be able to represent, uplift, encourage, empower, and also shield the diversity,” she shared with ET about it. “So it means a lot, it really does.”

Keke was also joined by Variety’s 10 Actors to Watch: The Banshees of Inisherin‘s Kerry Condon, Devotion‘s Christina Jackson, Bardo‘s Ximena Lamadrid, The Woman King‘s Thuso Mbedu, Prey‘s Amber Midthunder, The Son‘s Zen McGrath, The Inspection‘s Jeremy Pope, White Noise‘s Sam Nivola, and Stranger Things‘ Joseph Quinn.

Ron Howard, Cooper Raiff, Vanessa Burghardt, Jonathan Majors, Patton Oswalt and wife, Meredith Salenger, Spirited‘s Aimee Carrero, Anna Diop, Machine Gun Kelly, and Aubrey Plaza were also spotted at the event over the weekend.

The stars are stepping out during Emmys Weekend!

Andrew Garfield, Rachel Zegler, and Hayden Panettiere were among the many stars in attendance at The Hollywood Reporter’s Emmy Party on Saturday night (September 10) in Los Angeles.

Stars from Emmy-nominated shows including Abbott Elementary, Hacks, Ted Lasso, Yellowjackets, and Severance were also in attendance at the party. Nominees and guests alike sipped on specialty Casamigos cocktails including a Grapefruit Rosemary Paloma and a Spicy Cucumber Jalapeno Margarita.

The 2022 Emmy Awards will be taking place on Monday, September 12 with host Kenan Thompson – you can check out the full list of nominations here!

Patton Oswalt is opening up about the likelihood a sequel to Marvel’s Eternals.

During an appearance on Today, where the 53-year-old actor was promoting I Love My Dad, he was asked about the possibility of a second Eternals movie.

If you’re unaware, Patton appeared at the end of the movie as the voice of Pip the Troll, with Harry Styles as Star Fox.
