Pete Davidson Makes Brief Appearance on 'SNL' to Introduce Miley Cyrus

Pete Davidson has made an appearance on Saturday Night Live.

Despite his alarming tweet earlier on Saturday (December 15), the 25-year-old SNL cast member made a brief appearance on the show to introduce musical guest Miley Cyrus.

Typically, the host introduces the musical performances both times during the show. Tonight, host Matt Damon introduced Miley and Mark Ronson‘s first performance and then Pete introduced their second performance.

Earlier in the show, Pete appeared in a pre-taped segment as Rami Malek auditioning for the hosting gig of the 2019 Oscars.

Pete worried fans after he said he didn’t want to be on earth anymore and “I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last.” He quickly deleted his Instagram page completely.

After alarming fans and ex fiancee Ariana Grande, the NYPD checked up on Pete at rehearsals for SNL and reported that he was doing “fine.”

Pete Davidson Says He Doesn't Want 'To Be on This Earth Anymore'

Pete Davidson is being open and honest about his mental health on his social media accounts.

The 25-year-old Saturday Night Live star has always been open with fans about his struggles and he got real in a new statement on Instagram on Saturday afternoon (December 15).

“I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore. I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so,” Pete said in the note. He ended it with a heart emoji.

Pete‘s statement came minutes after he weighed in on Kanye West‘s tweets about his mental health. Those tweets were seemingly triggered by a joke that Pete‘s ex-fiancee Ariana Grande made on Twitter about the rapper.

After posting the statement, Pete deleted his Instagram account.

Pete Davidson Stands Up for Kanye West After Ariana Grande's Joke: 'I'm Seriously Disgusted'

Pete Davidson is inserting himself into the online scuffle between his ex-fiancee Ariana Grande and rapper Kanye West.

It all started when Kanye went on a rant against Drake earlier this week, hours before Ariana was set to drop her new song “Imagine.” She then tweeted a joke about the feud and asked the “grown men” to stop fighting.

Kanye then spoke out and slammed Ariana‘s tweet, saying that his mental health was affected by what she said. Ariana later apologized for triggering him.

Now, Pete just released a statement on his Instagram account applauding Kanye for speaking up about his mental health.

“Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against mental health. I can’t explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this. We need people like Kanye. No one should ever point fingers at you for your bravery in speaking about mental health. I’m seriously disgusted,” he wrote.
