The Video Vanguard Award is the most prestigious honor a musician can take home from the MTV Video Music Awards.

It’s an honor, bestowed upon everyone from Michael and Janet Jackson to Britney Spears, Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Beyonce, that recognizes artists who have consistently delivered cutting edge and game-changing visuals.

This year’s recipient is Shakira, who fits right in with the game-changing icons who have already taken home the Moon Person. She is truly a deserving winner, but we’re already thinking about who should receive the Video Vanguard Award next year at the 2024 MTV VMAs.

Unfortunately, over the years, the shows have seen so many cast exits. Some of the exits have been devastating!

The 2023 Emmys are still some time away, but we already know who the nominees are for the year.

The ceremony is scheduled to air on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT, and the Creative Arts ceremony will occur on Saturday, January 6, and Sunday, January 7. An edited version will air on FXX on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET. All events will take place at the Peacock Theater at LA Live.

One of the most buzzed-about categories is Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, with plenty of huge names up for contention. But we want to know: who do you think will be taking the award?

Some of the biggest movies of the year do not have confirmed sequels yet, and we want to know which blockbuster you think needs to to be revisited.

2023 has graced us with some truly fantastic movies in theaters and on streaming services.

For instance, Greta Gerwig‘s Barbie is breaking box office records at a prodigious pace. Red, White & Royal Blue is the queer rom-com that we needed, and Jennifer Lopez‘s The Mother proved that the actress truly can do anything!

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is currently the top-grossing movie of the year, and Disney’s The Little Mermaid laid the groundwork for something we haven’t seen yet – a Disney live-action sequel.

There’s been talk about the potential for a sequel for each of these movies, but nothing has been confirmed yet. In fact, especially in the case of Barbie, there’s evidence that a second movie might be difficult to nail down.
