There are so many different editions of RuPaul’s Drag Race, it’s hard to keep track of everything happening all at once!

As we near the conclusion of All Stars 8 on Paramount+, the Internet quickly started rumbling about potential contestants for All Stars Season 9, presumed to premiere sometime in 2024.

Fans have been closely following the moves of all of the Drag Race alums through their social media and show postponements, and eagle-eyed Redditors and fans of the franchise have seemingly identified which queens might be filming for Season 9.

Pride Month is more than halfway over, but we’re still celebrating all sorts of LGBTQ+ art! That means that we’ve been playing music from some of our favorite queer hitmakers on repeat.

It seems like the ideal time to recommend a queer artist to a friend or fellow reader by letting them know which one you consider to be the best.

Nowadays, we live in an era where so many musicians are open about their sexuality. Think of Hayley Kiyoko (known to many as Lesbian Jesus) and Lil Nas X (who continues to push boundaries every time he releases a new project).

They’re slaying the game, in part thanks to the groundbreaking work of others who came before them. Take Elton John and Melissa Etheridge, for example.

That’s still barely scratching the surface of the incredible pool of talented queer musicians who have graced us with solid-gold hits over the years. The list isn’t complete without the likes of Adam Lambert, Fletcher, Troye Sivan, Janelle Monae, Lady Gaga, Kim Petras, Sam Smith and so many others.

The 62-year-old RuPaul’s Drag Race superstar shared his Beverly Hills mansion with Architectural Digest, and it’s as stunning and fabulous as you might expect from the “Supermodel” icon.

The home was built in 1980, with interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard providing renovations.

RuPaul’s Drag Race is a superstar making machine.

The long-running RuPaul-hosted drag competition series has exploded in popularity over the past decade, with dozens of spinoffs and international franchises, as well as All Star editions.

Thanks to the platform of the show, many of the queens featured have been able to turn their art into massively successful brands, and they’ve also amassed huge followings on social media.
