Naya Rivera‘s dad is sharing his thoughts.

In a new interview with ET, George Rivera addressed speculation regarding Ryan Dorsey relationship with Naya Rivera‘s sister Nickayla.

In case you missed it, Ryan revealed last September that the model had moved in with him to help take care of his son with the late Glee star, Josey.

Nickayla later wrote she was “not concerned with the way things look” on her Instagram stories, adding that the most important thing to her was “showing up for [her] nephew.”

Ryan also explained why Nickayla moved in during an Instagram live.

The 37-year-old Big Sky actor posted an emotional tribute to the Glee alum, who tragically passed in a drowning accident last year, on Mother’s Day Sunday (May 9).

The 37-year-old actor posted a heartwarming picture of the happy family together on Tuesday (January 12), which would have been Naya‘s 34th birthday.

“Just as surreal as it is real that you’re gone. If that makes sense, but none of this still makes any sense…34..I could just hear you saying ‘Ah, I’m old AF now!’ Ha…Rest easy old lady…❤️ 💫 🤍,” he captioned the photo.

Naya‘s name trended on social media all day as fans shared their own happy memories and birthday wishes for the late star, who tragically died last year.

The 37-year-old actor has booked his first role since tragic drowning of his ex-wife Naya Rivera back in July.

Ryan took to Instagram on Wednesday (December 9) to reveal that he will be playing the character of Eddie in the new episode of Station 19, airing on Thursday night.

“Tomorrow night on 8PM @ABC, see me/EDDIE on @station19 (thanks for having me!) & see how front line workers deal with insanity under pressure first hand during a pandemic never knowing the type of characters they will encounter & S/o to @jasonwinstongeorge & @dontgo_jasonwaterfalls for being easy and fun to work with🤙 🙏,” Ryan captioned the below selfie with Station 19 stars Jason George and Barrett Doss.

The 37-year-old actor took to Instagram on Saturday (December 5) to share a cute photo while decorating his Christmas tree with his 5-year-old son, whom he shares with the late Naya Rivera.

“#HappyHolidays to all. You, you, and even you, all of ya. Hope you get nothing but happiness✨💫🎅Except you. I’m talking to you, 2020. #f***2020,” Ryan wrote along with the below post.

It’s been a difficult year for Ryan and Josey. Ryan‘s ex-wife Naya tragically drowned during a boating trip with Josey back in July. She was only 33-years-old.

Last month, Ryan filed a wrongful death lawsuit after Naya‘s drowning on behalf of Josey.

The late Naya Rivera‘s ex husband Ryan Dorsey has filed a lawsuit on their five-year-old son Josey‘s behalf on Tuesday (November 17).

Josey is suing the county where his mother tragically died in early July, Ventura County, California, as well as United Water Conservation District and Ventura County’s Parks and Recreation Management for “wrongful death and negligent infliction of emotional distress,” Us Weekly reports.

Apparently, the paperwork states that the boat that Naya and Josey were in on July 8 at Lake Piru, where she died, did not comply with Coast Guard safety standard.

Naya‘s autopsy was revealed back in September that revealed devastating details about her death. Our continued thoughts are with the Rivera family and Dorsey family on this tragedy.

Josey Dorsey, the son of Ryan Dorsey and the late Naya Rivera, danced to Michael Jackson‘s hit song “Smooth Criminal” in a cute new video.

The video was shared to Ryan‘s Instagram Story and then reposted by fans on Twitter. In a second clip, Josey was dancing so hard that he actually fell over, and was totally unfazed by it!

As you can see, Josey has a fresh new buzzcut in the videos, which he got a few weeks ago after traditionally sporting longer hair.

If you missed it, Ryan and Josey now live with another member of Naya‘s family to help out after the tragedy the family suffered. Naya tragically passed away over the summer in a drowning accident.
