Ryan Seacrest Is Retiring from His Red Carpet Hosting Duties for E!

While we’re still unsure what the red carpet situation will look like for awards season this year, one thing we know is that we won’t see much of Ryan Seacrest.

The 46-year-old television personality has decided to retire from his hosting gig for E! Live from the Red Carpet.

“After 14 years of hosting E!’s Live from the Red Carpet I’ve decided to move on to new adventures,” Ryan said in a statement (via E! News). “I’ll miss the whole crew that works so hard behind the scenes and of course my amazing partner Giuliana [Rancic]. Thanks to everyone for watching all these years.”

The E! network added, “E! has long enjoyed our relationship with Ryan over the years especially as co-host of E!’s signature red carpet series. He has been instrumental in giving viewers a front row seat to some of Hollywood’s biggest nights. We are extremely appreciative of his many contributions and he will always be part of the E! family.”

The E! team has confirmed that there will be a red carpet special for the 2021 Golden Globes on February 28.

One of Ryan‘s famous exes recently spoke about their relationship in a new interview.

Ryan Seacrest Shares New Details About the Kardashian-Jenner Family's Hulu Deal

Ryan Seacrest is sharing an update on the Kardashian-Jenner family’s future!

If you didn’t know, the family decided to end their E! show Keeping Up with the Kardashians after 20 seasons. Ryan co-created and executive produced the show.

A few months later, Kardashians announced they had signed a multi-year deal to “create global content” for Hulu.

Now, Ryan is sharing what to expect when the Kardashians take over Hulu.

“I think they have a lot of ideas and [will do] a lot of things that they may have not had a chance to do with Keeping Up with the Kardashians, because it was such a strong franchise and people wanted what they saw from the family. And that’s what they got for 20 seasons,” Ryan shared with People.

“So I have a feeling they have a stack of ideas,” Ryan continued. “My guess would be they want to evolve a little bit from the show that everybody has seen and do something differently. I’m sure it will definitely pique people’s interest, but I think it remains to be seen what exactly they will do.”

Earlier this month, Kim Kardashian documented the emotional final day of filming KUWTK.

Ryan Seacrest, Lucy Hale, & Billy Porter Are Hosting the New Year's Eve Special in a Nearly Empty Times Square!

The 2021 Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve special is happening live in Times Square right now with hosts Ryan Seacrest, Lucy Hale, and Billy Porter appearing in New York City!

Even though Times Square is nearly empty this year due to the pandemic, the TV shows are still broadcasting live from the historic location.

Billy, who is best known for his Emmy-winning performance in FX’s Pose and his Tony and Grammy-winning work in Broadway’s Kinky Boots, showed off his musical talents during the show. He performed twice, including a duet of “True Colors” with Cyndi Lauper.

“It was a big year for sweatpants. Decided to give my favorite pair a well-deserved break tonight. #RockinEve,” Ryan tweeted with a photo of his outfit.

If you’re wondering, the few people allowed to watch the ball drop in Times Square this year are all first responders and essential workers who were all selected to receive the special tickets.

FYI: Ryan is wearing Taft shoes. Billy is wearing a gray Rick Owens coat. He is wearing a Botter suit under the red coat.

Julianne Hough Seemingly Talks Split from Ryan Seacrest, Says She Was 'Lost' After the Relationship

Julianne Hough is opening up about a former relationship and it sure sounds like she’s talking about her time with ex-boyfriend Ryan Seacrest.

The 32-year-old former Dancing With the Stars pro spoke with influencer Valeria Lipvetsky during an Instagram Live on Tuesday (November 10).

“It was 2013 and I had just gotten out of a relationship that was very high profile,” Julianne said. “I was on private planes and yachts and living in a very, very well-off house and my life was pretty different from where I grew up. … I had just gotten out of that relationship because I wanted to create that for myself because I kind of felt like I didn’t deserve it. Like, I didn’t earn that, so now I need to go and create that for myself.”

Julianne never mentioned Ryan by name, but we know that she split from him in 2013 after three years of dating. She said that during this relationship, she found herself steering away from “living in a state of perfection and image and doing everything the right way.”

“I kind of just was like, ‘F–k it. I’m just going to do things where I’m not going to necessarily overthink them to make sure that I’m doing everything perfect and right,’” she added. “And that year, I kind of got a little lost. … I was like, ‘I’m 24 and I don’t really know who Julianne is.’”

Several years later, she married Brooks Laich and she announced earlier this year that they had split. Days ago, she filed for divorce.
