VIDEO: 'Transformers: The Last Knight' Behind-the-Scenes Footage Revealed in New Feature!

A new IMAX featurette has revealed some of the first behind-the-scenes footage from the upcoming film Transformers: The Last Knight!

The Michael Bay film stars Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager, Josh Duhamel as Lieutenant Colonel Lennox, Tyrese Gibson as Robert Epps, Stanley Tucci as Joshua Joyce, and will also star Isabela Moner, Jerrod Carmichael, Laura Haddock, and more.

The new film will hit theaters on June 23, 2017.

Michael Bay Shares 'Transformers 5' Explosion Scene Video!

Michael Bay is currently hard at work filming his upcoming fifth film in the franchise, Transformers: The Last Knight, and he shared a video of a massive explosion on set!

The 51-year-old director is using his one-of-a-kind camera, the Bayhem created by RED, to shoot the new movie.

“They created the lightest, most advanced hand held motion picture camera in the world. I put it through the paces on Transformers in UK,” he captioned the below video on Instagram.

While we don’t know much about the film, we can be sure to see plenty of explosions like the one in this clip. Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, and Tyrese Gibson are returning to the franchise alongside newcomer Isabela Moner.

Mark Wahlberg Films Action Scenes for 'Transformers: The Last Knight'!

The day before, Mark, Josh Duhamel, and Laura Haddock were seen practicing in front of a green screen for some upcoming scenes for the Michael Bay movie.

The fifth movie in the franchise is expected to be released on June 23, 2017.

BallersDwayne Johnson and Mark, the executive producer of the show, were in the middle of a lawsuit, which stated that the show was strikingly similar to Everette Silas and Sherri Littleton‘s Off Season. A judge ruled on Monday (July 25) that the case should be thrown out, Deadline reports.

Laura Haddock Joins 'Transformers 5' with Mark Wahlberg!

Congraulations are in order for actress Laura Haddock – she just landed a role in the upcoming fifth Transformers movie!

“I’m very proud to announce that I am going to be in the new Transformers movie and acting opposite one of my all-time heroes, massive in the 80s, living legend, some people describe him as having balls of steel. I can’t believe I get to be in his entourage… Optimus Prime! Oh and there’s this other guy, he’s a pretty big deal, Mark Wahlberg,” she said in the below Twitter video.

Mark responded on Twitter by saying, “Optimus gets more love than Cade? Come on! Welcome to the #transformers family.”

Laura‘s husband, Me Before You star Sam Claflin, also congratulated her on the news. “super proud of you sunshine! You never cease to amaze me. Constantly transforming. Forever growing #Transformers,” he tweeted.

Laura has previously been seen in minor roles in the Marvels movies Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America: The First Avenger, as well as a regular on the Starz series Da Vinci’s Demons.

Josh Duhamel Returning to 'Transformers' Franchise!

Josh Duhamel is officially returning for Transformers: The Last Knight after sitting out for the previous film, Age of Extinction.

“Lieutenant Colonel Lennox is back and the universe feels safer already. #transformers” the Transformers Twitter account wrote, to which Josh added, “Lieutenant Colonel Lennox reporting for duty. Let’s do this. #transformers.”

Michael Bay and Mark Wahlberg both welcomed Josh back to the franchise on Twitter.

“.@joshduhamel welcome back to the #transformers family. This is gonna be good,” Mark tweeted.

Three 'Transformers' Movies Get Release Dates!

The next three movies in the Transformers franchise have been given release dates and we’ll be seeing them all a lot sooner than you probably expected!

Starting next summer, a new Transformers movie will be released every year.

Transformers 5 will hit theaters on June 23, 2017, Transformers 6 will be released on June 8, 2018, and Transformers 7 will blast into theaters on June 28, 2019, according to Deadline.

Michael Bay has said he will return to direct the fifth movie, but it will be his last in the franchise. There is no word yet if Age of Extinction‘s stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, and Jack Reynor will reprise their roles.

Michael Bay to Return for 'Transformers 5'!

Michael Bay just confirmed he will be returning to direct Transformers 5!

The 50-year-old director has directed all four of the previous Transformers films. Michael made the reveal during an interview with Rolling Stone.

“I’m doing Transformers … 5, is it?” Michael said, adding, “I’ve taken on a lot of work.”

Michael‘s most recent film in the franchise, Transformers: Age of Extinction, starred Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, and Jack Reynor. Mark is expected to return to the franchise, but no other details about the plot have been revealed.
