The 20-year-old High School Musical star seemed to be in good spirits as he jumped in his waiting limo.

Earlier this month, his on-and-off-screen girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens was in the Big Apple doing press for her sophomore album, Identified. No word yet on why Zac is in town!

The High School Musical sweethearts escaped to the island paradise on July 6, and stayed at the exclusive, secluded Amanyara Resort on Malcolm’s Road Beach.

“They looked like a happy young couple,” says a witness who saw the pair “laughing all the time” and frolicking on the hotel’s beach during their week-long stay.

Although Zac, 20, and Vanessa, 19, went away together to be alone, they were friendly to the other tourists who recognized them, including a bunch of young HSM fans.

“They were nice to all of the kids who approached them,” a fellow vacationer reveals. “They were a very gracious couple.”

Earlier this month, High School sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens jetted off for a romantic July 4th weekend together.

The couple wound up flying to Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean and stayed at the exclusive Amanyara resort, which goes for up to $8,000/night. Zac, 20, and Vanessa, 19, weren’t shy about their affection with one another, cuddling up and making out in between scuba diving and kayaking.

Hey, Wildcats! Check out the new, official teaser trailer for High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which touts 10 new original songs.

The winner of ABC’s summer reality show High School Musical: Get in the Picture will appear in a music video that is shown over the end credits of the theatrical release of the film.

The motion picture soundtrack will be released on October 21. HSM3 is being scheduled for a theatrical release on October 24.

The movie is looking just as good as the first two made-for-TV films. Maybe even better!

On-and-off-screen lovers Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are no longer hiding their relationship, reports USA Today.

Zac and Vanessa, aka Zanessa, were openly affectionate on the set of High School Musical 3: Senior Year, from wrapping their arms around each other to splitting a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

“Life imitates art,” says [director and choreographer] Kenny Ortega. “It doesn’t hurt us that Zac and Vanessa have a connection. When Zac and Vanessa first auditioned for me, they didn’t know each other. But the chemistry those two kids share was just there. It has always been there.”

Vanessa, 19, is a believer of her chemistry on-screen with Zac. “I’m such a hopeless romantic,” she says. “You can feel the emotions Gabriella has for Troy. Zac and I have done three movies together now, and we can basically do anything in front of each other. We’re so comfortable, we’re not afraid to take chances.”

All Zac will say about his real-life romance is, “I’m glad Troy and Gabriella’s relationship comes across as real.”
