Zachary Levi Joins Cole Sprouse in Movie Musical 'Undercover'

Cole Sprouse and Zachary Levi are about to be in a wedding cover band together.

Deadline reports that the two actors will star in movie musical, Undercover.

The movie centers on Jack (Levi), a down-on-his-luck rocker-turned-father, who, to make ends meet, secretly joins a group of young musicians in a wedding cover band led by misfit Ben (Sprouse).

Things start looking up for this ragtag band, but when Jack’s secret gets revealed, he rediscovers what’s truly important in life while teaching Ben to find his own voice as a musical talent.

Steve Pink will direct the film, with production starting in April.

Zachary Levi Joins the Cast of Upcoming Drama 'Prisoner 760'

Zachary Levi is taking on a new role.

The Shazam! star will join co-stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Jodie Foster, Tahar Rahim and Shailene Woodley in the upcoming drama Prisoner 760, a true-life legal drama, THR reported on Friday (December 27).

The Kevin Macdonald-directed movie is being shot in South Africa, and is described as “a fight for survival against impossible odds, 760 tells the true tale of Mohamedou Ould Slahi, a man who was captured by the U.S. government and held for years without charge or trial. Slahi finds unlikely allies in defense attorneys Nancy Hollander and her associate Teri Duncan, being played by Foster and Woodley, respectively, who desperately pursue justice. They are aided by a military prosecutor named Lt. Stuart Couch (Cumberbatch).”

Zachary will play “an old friend of the prosecutor’s, a federal agent by the name of Neil Buckland.”

'Shazam! 2' Gets a Release Date!

The sequel to the first Shazam! movie – Shazam! 2 – will open on April 1, 2022!

Zachary Levi will be back in the title role for the DC Universe movie. The first film grossed $364 million worldwide and was critically praised.

Currently, that’s the only movie set to be released on that date, Deadline reports, but there could always be others added.

There are currently no other plot details or casting announcements for the 2022 movie.

Shazam's Zachary Levi Admits His Suit Was 'A Little Padded'

Zachary Levi is admitting his Shazam! suit shape wasn’t entirely natural.

The 39-year-old actor opened up in a tweet on Saturday (November 30) about his look for the film, which was a subject of debate leading up to its release.

“How can I become a Shazam?” one fan asked him on Twitter.

“Better eat yer Wheaties. 💪,” he responded.

“I’m still salty people thought it was padding 😭,” wrote another fan.

“I meeeaaannn…it was a liiiiiittle padded. 🤷‍♂️😏💪💃,” he replied.

Chris Hemsworth, Zachary Levi, Ian Somerhalder & More Kick Off Tokyo Comic Con 2019!

Zachary Levi and Chris Hemsworth wrap their arms around each other to pose for a photograph while attending the opening ceremony during 2019 Tokyo Comic Con held at Makuhari Messe on Friday (November 22) in China, Japan.

The 39-year-old Shazam! star and the 36-year-old Thor star were joined onstage by Ian Somerhalder, Rupert Grint and Jude Law, as well as Tadanobu Asano, Mitsuaki Munegumi and Daniel Logan as they helped kick off the weekend of events.

Orlando Bloom and Sebastien Stan were originally also set to appear but had to cancel due to scheduling conflicts.

The Tokyo Comic Convention is held at Makuhari Messe for three days from November 22 to November 24.

Rachel Brosnahan & Zachary Levi Team Up for Covenant House Sleep Out Benefit!

Rachel Brosnahan is all smiles as she poses alongside Zachary Levi at the Covenant House Sleep Out: Stage & Screen Benefit event held at the Jacob Javits Center on Monday (August 19) in New York City.

The 28-year-old actress and the 38-year-old actor are co-stars on Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and were also joined at the event by Rachel‘s husband Jason Ralph.

Covenant House Sleep Out: Stage & Screen Benefit helped raised funds to keep the lights on and the doors open for kids in need. It included getting to know the young people whose lives will be better because of the efforts on their behalf.

Also in attendance to show their support were Audra McDonald and her 18-yeare-old daughter Zoe Donovan.
