2. Kim Kardashian wears Marilyn Monroe’s classic dress and allegedly damages it, plus reveals diet she went on to fit into the dress

Kim Kardashian attended the 2022 Met Gala in the exact dress that Marilyn Monroe to sing “Happy Birthday Mr. President” many years ago. There were allegations that she damaged the dress, which is owned by Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum.

She also revealed she lost 16 pounds in three weeks to fit into the dress.

During an interview with Allure for their August 2022 cover, Kim shared that the diet she went on also caused her to have a “really painful” psoriasis flare-up.

“Psoriasis broke out over my body and I got psoriatic arthritis, so I couldn’t really move my hands,” she said, explaining that she had incorporated meat into her diet despite typically eating plant-based foods. “I had to go to a rheumatologist who put me on a steroid. I was freaking out. I cut out the meat again, and it’s calmed down.”

She also addressed some of the controversy her decision created, telling the outlet: “If I was starving and doing it really unhealthy, I would say that, of course, that’s not a good message. But I had a nutritionist, I had a trainer. I have never drunk more water in my life. I don’t see the criticism for other people when they lost weight for roles — they are [considered] geniuses for their craft.”

You probably guessed it… the most controversial moment of all time is when Solange Knowles got into a physical altercation with Jay-Z at a Met Gala after party in 2014.

Security camera footage from an elevator inside the Standard Hotel showed Solange kicking and swinging at Jay-Z while in the elevator.

The family released a statement 10 days after the footage was released.

“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family,” the statement said.

Jay-Z later spoke about the incident in 2017. He said, “We’ve had one disagreement. Before and after, we’ve been cool. That’s my sister. Not my sister-in-law, no, my sister. Period.”
