The Marvel Cinematic Universe has expanded by leaps and bounds in the years since Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner first assembled to save the day.

However, the original six members of the team – Black Widow, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk and Hawkeye – hold a special place in the hearts of fans. So much so that there are always rumors that the stars have other MCU projects in the works.

The stories of many of the original members seemingly came to a close in recent years. Even still, the actors are asked about the franchise in almost every interview they have.

Of course, it doesn’t help that a massive report in late 2023 suggested that there were efforts to get the team back together again.

What are the chances of that happening? We rounded up the latest thing that each of the actors has said about their future with Marvel. The most recent comments were made in April 2024!

Outlander season eight is currently in production!

The Starz drama is all set to return for an eighth and final season on the network, but don’t worry, it’s not the last from the universe – there’s also a prequel series filming right now.

The hit, fan-favorite series, which was renewed for season eight over a year ago, spans the genres of romance, science-fiction, history and adventure in one epic tale. It follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945, who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743 Scotland. When forced to marry Jamie Fraser, a chivalrous young Scottish warrior, Claire’s heart is torn between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.

With the new season in the works, we’re taking a look at which stars are returning for the upcoming final season.

Miley Cyrus debuted on the Disney Channel portraying an iconic character that had the best of both worlds – Hannah Montana. However, it turns out that she faced some stiff competition for the role.

The 31-year-old “Flowers” superstar was only 13 years old when she was cast as the pop star who hid her offstage identity behind a blonde wig.

She stuck with the role until 2011, releasing music and even starring in a movie inspired by the character. After that, Miley went on to launch her solo music career, becoming the Grammy winning sensation she is today.

Believe it or not, Hannah Montana: The Movie turned 15 on Wednesday (April 10).

In honor of the anniversary, we did some digging to see who else could have been Hannah and discovered five actresses that auditioned for the part before Miley was cast. The list includes several other Disney Channel stars as well as a few musicians.

The Hannah Montana casting director has even revealed the top three actresses in the running, while other stars have said that they were offered the part and turned it down.

The 24-year-old rapper has just been announced to join the cast of Spike Lee‘s upcoming movie High and Low, Variety reveals.

This will mark Ice Spice‘s first film role, and marks her acting debut!

The Australian drama Heartbreak High premieres it’s second season this week!

After the success of the first season, including winning an International Emmy Award, the Netflix remake returns for Term Two at the “lowest ranking school in the district.” But fresh hotties, a new sports teacher and a mystery assailant, throw any hopes for a peaceful term into disarray, while the race for school captain is seeing dirty tactics run rife through Hartley High. Yep… It’s Term 2 bitches, and it’s more chaotic than ever.

Heartbreak High season two premieres THIS Thursday (April 11) on Netflix with eight, 50-minute episodes.

For the upcoming season, there will be some new faces joining the fray, along with many returning characters.

Legend of the Lost Locket is coming to Hallmark Channel this weekend!

The new two-hour original movie premieres Saturday (April 13) at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel, as part of the network’s annual Spring Into Love programming event.

Here’s a full plot summary: London-based antiques expert Amelia Scott is on the hunt for a long-lost antique locket that legend says will grant the wearer true love. Her late mother started the quest and Amelia is bound and determined to see it through. Amelia’s search takes her to a small town in Massachusetts, where she immediately clashes with Sheriff Marcus Forrest, who questions her motives and interest in the town’s history.

After a somewhat rocky start, Sheriff Forrest begins to recognize what acquiring the iconic locket can mean to the local community, so he joins Amelia in the race to find the antique before any of the competition can decipher the clues and beat them to the treasure. As their pursuit of the locket intensifies, so do their feelings for each other. From the Boston art world to participation in the town’s annual Founder’s Day
costume ball, their search for the fabled locket inspires Amelia and Marcus to follow their hearts to the ultimate treasure – true love.

All American: Homecoming season three is on the way!

The All American spinoff series is all set to return for a new season on The CW, but a premiere date has yet to be revealed.

Recently, showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll revealed new details about the upcoming third season, including a time jump that is similar to that of All American‘s between seasons five and six.

“The actors have taken the new direction we’ve taken the show in and they’ve just raised it to another level,” she said. “I am so excited for people to see this season of Homecoming and how our characters have also grown and matured and how they’re now handling situations differently.”

The new direction of the show also includes some changes to the cast!

Some of the show’s stars have been demoted down to recurring guest stars, while some have had their series regular roles reduced. Plus, one recurring actor has been promoted to series regular.
