The Disney Channel has been the home of so many child stars over the years, especially in the early aughts. And now many of those young actors are all grown up and having children of their own!

Actors such as Ashley Tisdale and Joe Jonas got their start on the network, became household names and then became parents.

Believe it or not, they are only two of 14 Disney Channel stars who have followed a similar path of the years. We rounded them all up, including one superstar who just shared some very exciting baby news.

Many of these child stars have accumulated impressive net worths over the years, thanks to the opportunities and exposure that the Disney Channel provided.

Curious to see just how much these stars have earned? We took a stroll down memory lane and rounded up some of the most prominent names from the late ’90s and early ’00s. Based on their estimated net worths, we ranked them from lowest to highest.

Miley Cyrus became one of the Disney Channel’s breakout stars playing Hannah Montana. However, it turns out that she faced some stiff competition for the role.

The 31-year-old Endless Summer Vacation hitmaker was only 13 years old when she was chosen to play the pop star who hid her offstage identity from fans behind a blonde wig.

She stuck with the role until 2011, releasing music and even starring in a movie inspired by the character. After that, Miley went on to launch her solo music career, becoming the sensation she is today.

Thirteen years ago, Hannah pulled off her iconic blonde wig in the show’s fourth and final season. It brought an end to her secret identity and introduced fans to Miley Stewart, the talented teen behind the blonde hair.

In honor of the big occasion, we did some digging to track down all of the other actresses who might have de-wigged themselves in the show.

We discovered five actresses that auditioned for the part before Miley was cast. The list includes several other Disney Channel stars as well as a few musicians.

The Hannah Montana casting director has even revealed the top three actresses in the running, while other stars have said that they were offered the part and turned it down.

We just learned so much about Disney’s classic movie Frozen!

Believe it or not, the original blockbuster premiered in theaters 10 years ago. In honor of the special anniversary, Vanity Fair got stars including Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff together to look back on the start of the successful franchise.

In the process, we learned a lot about how the final movie we know and love differed from the original plot. In fact, the original movie even had different actresses reading for Elsa and Anna (the characters played by Idina and Kristen).

We also learned that Frozen was not the first Disney movie either actress auditioned for. Interestingly, they were both in the running for the same part in another hit from the House of Mouse.

At the end of the interview, the cast also reflected on John Travolta‘s now iconic flub at the Oscars when he introduced Idina as Adele Dazeem.

Derek Hough and Julianne Hough are returning as the hosts of the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade and we have everything you need to know about 2023′s special.

The special was directed by Sam Wrench, who most recently directed Taylor Swift‘s The Eras Tour concert movie.

The two-hour special airs on ABC from 10am to 12pm ET and 9am to 11am PT on Monday morning (December 25). You can stream the event the next day on Hulu and Disney+.

The show was filmed from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California with special performances from Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai‘i and aboard Disney Cruise Line.
