Disney had 12 movies released in 2023, but right now the studio only has 7 movies on its 2024 film slate.

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures includes films released by Disney’s production company, as well as Pixar, Marvel Studios, and 20th Century Studios.

Of the seven movies on Disney’s slate for the upcoming year, just one of them is a Disney-branded movie, one is a Marvel movie, and another is a Pixar movie. The other four are all from 20th Century Studios.

Six of the seven movies are part of popular franchises while one movie is an original film, though it’s based on a classic novel.

Mandy Moore‘s son Gus could care less about her being in Tangled!

The 39-yea-old Dr. Death actress and singer starred in the Disney musical as Rapunzel, and recently, she and her two-year-old posed with the character during a trip to Disneyland.

“Gus isn’t interested in Tangled and really couldn’t care less that mom and Rapunzel are ‘close friends,’” she wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of them with Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.

After their trip, she expanded on his lack of interest in her princess character, and revealed what Disney movie he does love.

The Hulu and Disney+ combined app for bundle subscribers is coming this March, and now, the major streamers are negotiating some new licensing deals!

Hulu and Netflix, the longtime streaming home of Grey’s Anatomy, will share the co-exclusive domestic streaming rights to all prior 19 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy. It will be available on both the bundled Disney app and the standalone Hulu service.

Disney is also licensing 14 popular TV series to Netflix on a non-exclusive basis for 18 months, via Deadline. During the 18-month window, the series will continue to be available on the Disney platform they are currently on (like Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+) as well as the other third-parties they have been licensed to.

The 14 series included in the licensing agreement with Netflix all have premiere dates.
