Elvis Presley‘s stepbrother David Stanley is apologizing for comments he made about the King of Rock and Roll.

David opened up about the comments, which were attributed to him and appear in an Amazon documentary titled Elvis’ Women. The allegations have to do with Elvis‘ relationships with women and his death at the age of 42 in 1977.

After the allegations went viral over the weekend, David took to social media to issue an apology and seemingly backtrack on what he had said.

It seems there are different opinions about the film Priscilla by those in the late singer’s life.

If you don’t know, the film stars Cailee Spaeny as Priscilla Presley and Jacob Elordi as Elvis Presley. Based on Priscilla‘s own memoir, “Elvis and Me”, Sofia Coppola wrote and directed the feature film. In the memoir, Priscilla talks about meeting Elvis, their marriage, and the factors and issues that led to the couple’s divorce.

Now, both Priscilla, as well as Elvis’ estate, have released very differing statements on the film, which will be released in theaters later this year.

Priscilla Presley is speaking out after coming to terms regarding the handling of Lisa Marie Presley‘s estate.

The former wife of Elvis Presley contested a document that gave control of her daughter’s trust to her granddaughter Riley Keough after Lisa Marie tragically passed away in January.

Four months later, Riley and Priscilla came to an agreement in May. On Wednesday (June 14), Priscilla filed a declaration about the terms of their settlement with the court.

In it, she addressed how she feels about the agreement she and Riley came to and mentions Elvis. She also spoke out about assumptions that she and her granddaughter were feuding over the handling of the estate.
