Megyn Kelly made some extremely controversial comments about doing blackface for a Halloween costume.

“I have to give you a fair warning, I’m a little fired up about Halloween costumes this morning. I mean, truly, political correctness has gone amok. There are strict rules on what you may and may not wear by someone who thinks is the boss of you,” the Today show host said. “Isn’t the whole purpose of Halloween to dress up and pretend you’re someone other than yourself? I feel like it’s so absurd. Who comes up with these rules?”

“What is racist? You do get in trouble if you are a white person who puts on blackface for Halloween, or a black person who puts on whiteface for Halloween. Back when I was a kid, that was OK just as long as you were dressing as a character,” she added.

“There was a controversy on The Real Housewives of New York with Luann, as she dressed as Diana Ross and she made her skin look darker than it really is. People said that that was racist! And I don’t know, like, I thought, like, ‘Who doesn’t love Diana Ross?’ She wants to look like Diana Ross for one day. I don’t know how that got racist on Halloween. It’s not like she’s walking around [wearing blackface] in general.”

Charlize Theron will be taking on the role of Megyn Kelly in an upcoming flick, according to THR.

The 42-year-old actress will be playing the Fox News personality in a film about disgraced Fox News chairman Roger Ailes.

The movie will reportedly follow her career as she rose up through the ranks from lawyer to host of The Kelly File and how she refused to come out in support of Roger after sexual harassment allegations.

The project is being put together by Annapurna and will be directed by Jay Roach.

Charlize will also produce.

The 47-year-old Megyn Kelly Today host and the 46-year-old Ghosts of Manhattan novelist were seen stepping out on Tuesday (April 10) in New York City.

The two were seen stopping at Free People and Nespresso in the SoHo neighborhood. They look happy, smiling and holding hands as they made their way around the city on their shopping trip.

Susan Lucci is set to appear on the next episode of Megyn Kelly Today on Wednesday (April 11) morning.

Megyn Kelly totally called out Jane Fonda during the Today show moments ago on Monday (January 22).

If you don’t know, months ago, Jane appeared on Megyn‘s Today show hour to discuss a movie “about aging.” During the interview, Megyn asked Jane about her plastic surgery and Jane wasn’t pleased with the question. Weeks later, Jane brought up Megyn‘s plastic surgery question in another interview.

“When she first complained, I chose to say nothing,” Megyn told her audience today. “It’s time to address the ‘poor me’ routine.”

“To her credit, she has discussed her cosmetic surgery pretty much everywhere before coming on our show,” Megyn explained. “She said the same to Entertainment Tonight. To Access Hollywood. To W magazine for a cover piece. To The Guardian. I could go on. Apparently when she came here, however, again to promote her film about aging, I was supposed to discern that this subject was suddenly off-limits”.

Megyn continued, “This is a woman whose name is synonymous with outrage. Look at her treatment of our military during the Vietnam War. The moral indignation is a little much. Honesty, she has no business lecturing anyone on what qualifies as offensive.”

You may remember, several months back, Jane Fonda had an awkward interview with the Today show’s Megyn Kelly where she kept being questioned about past plastic surgery.

Well, Jane made a return to the Today show on Tuesday (January 16) with her Grace and Frankie co-star Lily Tomlin. This time, they did their interview with Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie.

“You guys are real friends on and off camera, right?” Hoda said, to which Jane responded, “Sometimes.”

“How long have you guys known each other?” Hoda asked, to which Lily joked, “Oh, my gosh…I think before your first facelift!”

“Never mind! Never mind!” Jane said in reaction. “We don’t need to hear that!”

Then Jane asked Lily, “Who are you, Megyn Kelly?”
