King Charles and Queen Camilla are braving the rainy weather for a royal photo opp!

The newly crowned King and Queen of England waved to the crowds of people from the balcony at Buckingham Palace following their Coronation on Saturday (May 6) in London, England.

King Charles and Queen Camilla were joined up on the balcony by Prince William, Princess Catherine (aka Kate Middleton), and their three kids, along with King Charles‘ siblings Princess Anne and Prince Edward, and Queen Camilla‘s kids and grandchildren.

The scheduled flypast took place, but it was scaled down due to the rain.

Prince Harry was noticeably missing from the balcony, but he was at his father’s official crowning at Westminster Abbey.

The weather is not holding up for King Charles’ Coronation and his wife Queen Camilla needed some assistance to make sure her dress didn’t get ruined by the wet ground.

The 75-year-old wife of the new monarch was seen having her grandchildren help carry the back of her dress while exiting the carriage at Westminster Abbey on Saturday morning (May 6) in London, England.

Queen Camilla is set to formally ascend the throne alongside her husband King Charles on Saturday (May 6), and she’ll do so with several members of her family by her side.

Queen Elizabeth requested that King Charles‘ wife be referred to as Camilla, Queen Consort after her son ascended the throne. However, it appears that she received a bit of an updated title.

After the late Queen passed away in 2022, there were questions regarding if Camilla, then the Duchess of Cornwall, would be referred to as Queen. In the past, it was reported that she would be named Princess Consort, which of course changed to Queen Consort following Queen Elizabeth‘s request.

However, it appears that her title might be changing yet again.
