Adele is set for a one-hour interview special with Matt Lauer to air on NBC next month!

The 24-year-old singer sat down with the Today anchor for, Adele Live in London with Matt Lauer, which will air on June 5.

The special will feature a never before seen interview, as well as clips from Adele‘s Live at Royal Albert Hall concert film.

Adele‘s hit album 21 is nearing the 9 million sales mark in the United States and has not left the top ten on the Billboard charts in its 63-week run so far.

Time has revealed its 9th annual Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world!

Celebs making the cut include Adele, Jessica Chastain, Claire Danes, Viola Davis, Chelsea Handler, Rihanna, Tilda Swinton, and Kristen Wiig.

The mag also highlighted Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, her younger sister, Pippa Middleton, President Barack Obama and athletes Novak Djokovic, Tim Tebow, and Jeremy Lin.

Angelina Jolie was one of the celebrity writers, penning a piece honoring Oscar-winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.

Adele shows off her piercing green eyes on the cover of Entertainment Weekly‘s music issue, on newsstands Friday (April 6).

“When everybody heard the record, they knew it was special,” Rob Stringer, chairman and CEO of Columbia Records, told the mag about the 23-year-old singer’s smash album 21. “But not one person could honestly tell you they thought it would sell this many.”

Also featured in the issue is EW‘s “30 Greatest Artists Right Now” list. Adele tops the list at number one, followed by Taylor Swift, Drake, Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, Jack White, The Black Keys, Nicki Minaj, Mumford & Sons, and Rihanna rounding out the top ten.

Adele hits the red carpet in Burberry for the Brit Awards 2012, held at the O2 Arena on Tuesday (February 21) in London, England.

The 23-year-old English singer (and this month’s Vogue cover girl!) is up for several awards tonight, including British Female Solo Artist, MasterCard British Album of the Year, and British Single. She’ll also be performing at the show!

Grammy juggernaut Adele takes the cover of Vogue‘s March 2012 issue.

Here’s what the 23-year-old singer had to share:

On having voice troubles: “I’ve been singing properly every day since I was about fifteen or sixteen, and I have never had any problems with my voice, ever. I’ve had a sore throat here and there, had a cold and sung through it, but that day it just went while I was onstage in Paris during a radio show. It was literally like someone had pulled a curtain over it.”

On her Grammy nominations: “I burst into tears when I found out. And I would love, absolutely love, to win. This record is coming to an end, and that would be the final brick on it.”

On her performance style: “I definitely think that less is more. I don’t think I could pull it off, doing an elaborate show. There are a couple of songs that are worthy of a few explosions and dancing teams and stuff like that. But I would feel really uncomfortable displaying my music like that. I just want to sing it. I don’t want to perform with my body.”

Adele belts out her smash hit, “Rolling in the Deep,” at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

Earlier in the evening, the 23-year-old English songstress received a standing ovation after winning Best Pop Solo Performance for “Someone Like You.”

“I should take my shoes off. I’m too tall for this … I can’t believe I’m getting emotional already,” Adele said during her acceptance speech. “I need to thank my doctors who brought my voice back.”

During the telecast, Adele also picked up the Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Short Form Music Video Awards!
