Liam Hemsworth waves to his fans while hitting the stage during the 2013 MTV Movie Awards held at Sony Pictures Studios on Sunday (April 14) in Los Angeles.

The 23-year-old actor presented the official teaser trailer from his highly anticipated film, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The cast of the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film has been revealed, according to Deadline.

Alan Ritchson (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) will be playing Raphael, Pete Ploszek (Parks and Recreation) will be playing Leonardo, Jeremy Howard (Breaking Bad) will be playing Donatello, and Noel Fisher (Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, Shameless) will be playing Michaelangelo.

In producer Michael Bay‘s reboot of the franchise, aliens invade Earth and inadvertently spawn a quartet of mutated reptile warriors, the Ninja Turtles, who rise up against them to defend the world.

Megan Fox will be playing the female lead in the flick.

The co-stars were joined on set by Philip Seymour Hoffman, who is playing Plutarch Heavensbee in the highly anticipated sequel to The Hunger Games.

The film follows the continuing adventures of Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), which take place in a futuristic dystopian world, as she prepares for the Quarter Quell.

Sam (Finnick Odair), Jena (Johanna Mason), Willow (Primrose Everdeen), and Alan (Gloss) were joined on set that afternoon by Lynn Cohen (Mags), Meta Golding (Enobaria), Jeffrey Wright (Beetee), Bruno Gunn (Brutus), Stephanie Leigh Schlund (Cashmere), Amanda Plummer (Wiress), and E. Roger Mitchell (Chaff).

Alan Ritchson is the latest addition to the jam-packed The Hunger Games: Catching Fire!

The 27-year-old actor will take on the role of Gloss, a former career tribute who ends up competing in the Quarter Quell with his sister Cashmere.

“No words can express…To have the opportunity to portray Gloss in @TheHungerGames. To be a part of this great trilogy…just…so grateful.” Alan tweeted earlier in the day.

Congratulations on the role, Alan! We can’t wait to see it!!!

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is set to be released on November 22, 2013.

Hollywood Rush is a theater event wherein 40 celebrities (5 writers, 5 directors, 30 actors) come together to write, rehearse and ultimately perform in a series of 10-minute plays before a live audience, all within the same day!

The event benefited The Baby Dragon Fund, which fuels an array of essential recovery programs developed for the youth of Los Angeles to live fully and courageously in the face of addiction, depression and issues of sexual identity.

Also in attendance: Alan Ritchson, Jonathan Bennett, Robbie Amell (with girlfriend Italia Ricci), Jodie Sweetin, and stylist George Kotsiopoulos.

Alan Ritchson goes shirtless in this new shot for August Man magazine’s latest issue.

Here’s what the 28-year-old Blue Mountain State actor had to share:

On finding ways to keep his character fresh: “The easiest thing for someone playing a bully or any archetypal character is to play the stereotype. But my goal with every scene is to find another layer that we haven’t explored.”

On learning on his own: “I took my fair share of classes, but you know, I work best with my own experiences. I learn a lot from the jobs I do and learn valuable lessons that you can’t learn from the proverbial “book”. If I ever feel like I’m getting stuck, I make efforts to get into a new rhythm.

On what he’d like to do in the future: “I have several shorts I’ve written that I want to start producing soon, and I’m working on a feature film right now that’s like a mixture of The Sandlot and Stand By Me. I think it’s likened to that lost era of Hollywood where there’s a joy in the creative process and you make these movies and explore humanity and bygone eras in a way that people don’t do anymore.”
